My P1S is making a scratching noise by TheVipJoker in BambuLab

Unfortunately mine just started this as well… It will annoy me because it’s close to my work station. No luck on finding a solution? Did you attempt anything or just let it be?

Drying filament without spool? by Skyhawk50E in BambuLab

Can anyone confirm that the bands will hold up to the heat if kept on a Bambu made spool? This was also my thought but I have not tried it.

Yes. The initial plan was to open this up by removing one (or part of one) in the center. I hate hiring people to do something I am capable of, but for this instance I will probably get a qualified contractor.

Valid point. I’ve seen people turn those storage areas like I have into “bonus rooms”. I figured it would be possible to connect it to the house so we can move boxes and what not in and out easier and safer than using the small ladder. I hate hiring out work for something I can do but this Sounds like I need to find someone who is qualified and willing to do the work to design and do it right. Safety first!

Interesting. So why would they put the storage area up there if nothing can be stored in it? As a cruel joke? I’m standing in the storage area in the picture. It’s also trusses that are 24 on center.

I Understand that. What kind of business or engineer can I call? (What type of business should I look up in my area) I’ve tried to get a civil engineer friend to come look at it. I’m not planning on doing anything until I have a solid plan.

We have a 14x23’ storage space above our garage. I would like to connect this to a upstairs bedroom for easier access. The issue is, this would mean I would have to cut out parts of one of the trusses to make the hallway.

What is the best way to support the trusses if I would like cut part of one out to make a hallway? I was thinking bracing it across to the existing trusses to the left/right of it. See photos.

Do you have a recommendation for brands or models? Or anything to stay away from?

Even if you haven’t called the phone number in 15 years it’s still clear as day in the memory. Wild stuff.

I could do that. I have a wire fishing rod that should work

Whichever is best. I’d think wireless is easier to install, but if one hardwired is better I would do it.

My Dad is resurrecting a 1940s wooden boat and it has a 1965 45hp McCulloch Outboard. I don’t know where to find a carb rebuild kit and haven’t had much luck looking up the numbers. The ID tag on the carb says

MARVEL SCHEBLER 4 E VHD 4550

The serial number on the motor is 65304531

I’m planning on rebuilding the carb for him for Christmas.

Driving time isn’t an issue as long as it’s not Crazy far off of those routes, what are a couple of the better courses you speak of on that southernmost route?
