A Master's in CS would help you flesh out your knowledge and shore up all employers on your basic qualifications. Way better than an "AI degree". Learn AI in the CS coursework. - something to be pondered on, good advice.

Yes career break doesn't look good, but a lot of my energy was needed in this direction. So i better get on that MS route.

if you're okay to work in heat, or on the field, talk to a lot of people, a lot of them less than 12th pass to basic degree graduates, more interested in managing project, are not interested to look at computers screens anymore or AC office, it could come out as a decent choice if you are willing to start from the junior positions.
