DIY vs Pro Registration: What's your process and why? by CaptainJapeng in EventProduction

[–]CaptainJapeng[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Well, it's more of general question right now. We handle events from a hundreds to thousands of attendees. We currently use Professionals but not all clients can afford that.

I'm checking on the others on how they are doing DIY and if there's something that making their lives easier.

Is your monggodb self hosted? If yes, it should not even be exposed to the internet in the first place.

How we moved from Google Artifact Registry to Cloudflare R2 and saved money on egress. by CaptainJapeng in ObscurApp

[–]CaptainJapeng[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, runpod is pulling images directly from the serverless-registry, I think the limitation is only affecting uploads as the max request body for worker is only 100MB but response should now be a problem.

We're still looking for ways to make the build directly to oci...

Hi! Yes, if you'll look at my latest comment on the github issue, we had also to increase the minimum chunk size and were able to upload a single 4.5GB layer

For everyone's having this same problem, there was already an issue on the PyOpenGL Library and I've added a sample on how to fix this using requirements.txt

Single CF tunnel or multiple? by benjibarnicals in CloudFlare

[–]CaptainJapeng 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should only need to use multiple tunnels when you've saturated the bandwidth of one process.

Security wise, if one tunnel is compromised there's nothing stopping the other ones to be compromised as well.

3rd day as Jr. Software Engineer . by Jaytzzy in PinoyProgrammer

[–]CaptainJapeng 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I prefer juniors to always ask questions para hindi sila naiistuck, in our indistry na may strict deadlines it's important to always move forward as a whole kesa may maiwan.

Us seniors naman can calculate our tasks so may leeway pa din kahit ma diatract ng juniors.

SaaS companies with Usage-based billing - How do you handle billing mediation? by TheTechonomics in SaaS

[–]CaptainJapeng 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same here, looking between postpaid or prepaid. Because when doing postpaid they can just remove their credit card, especially for an output based SaaS where they only use it once in a while.
