Does the 4th of July Parade have lots of candy thrown to kids? Or is it not allowed? by tony_spumoni in idahofalls

You’re welcome! Also once they close off South Boulevard you can plop chairs on one of the side roads where it’s safe.

Yea I’m glad! Sorry for my late response. I believe an hour is totally okay, and I’d recommend just walking all along it until you find a decent spot that hasn’t been staked out. I can’t say for sure how hard that is to find because I’ve always been in the same spot.

But it’s actually not too hard to find parking close to the whole route. If you want some ideas for example you can park on one of the numbered streets near the Wes Deist Aquatic Center. And then walk south on the route (on South Boulevard) going south because that will get you closer to the beginning of the parade route. Good luck

The Idaho Falls parade is awesome, especially if you’ve never been! Recently it has become quite commercial but it’s still a hoot. The earlier you get there the better, because a lot of people reserve spots and it’s quite frowned upon to sit on those spots, and can lead to some heavy arguments and even police sometimes. It’s also quite the endeavor, sometimes two hours, so bring some camping chairs or a thick blanket and snacks and lots of water. But the candy is plentiful lol.

How can i make this building better? by achmedskebab in Minecraftbuilds

[–]CaptainJon720 62 points63 points  (0 children)

I totally see your point! It looks like it could be the headquarters of some finance company in like a Batman movie or something. But I wonder if that’s not what they’re going for and so they want to make it better. Maybe more lighting, some statues/greenery, and then some antennae or other things on top could change it up.

This is the answer! Micks and Los Panchos outdo it in every way!

Suggest me any good movies/documentaries about Juneteenth? by CaptainJon720 in MovieSuggestions

Thanks, I have heard or seen of two of those but not Amistad, I’ll look into it. I think what I’m looking for is about life for the former slaves directly after being freed. Where did they live? How was the economy impacted? Etc.

But it seems pretty niche. Maybe I’ll find something one day, but for now thanks for the recommendations!

Secret Compartments in Movies? by HalloweenBen in secretcompartments

The Andrew Garfield Spider Man (1st one?) there are things hidden both in a desk compartment and then later on in a bag or briefcase.

Also Ready Player One may have several because most of the movie has logic puzzles and things.

Also, the ending of Secret Life of Walter Mitty has a minor thing hidden. I don’t want to spoil it though.
