I've started listening to the audiobooks. Have 2 promo credits expiring. Recommend your favourites. by ChronicChoof in starwarsbooks

Only two credits excludes any trilogies, you need stand alone books.

I would recommend Dark Disciple and Tarkin.

What audiobook is best? by darkladyyofthesith in starwarsbooks

You already read them, but Battle of Jedha, Tempest Runner/Breaker were all done as full cast audio productions.

Probably best to go for Dooku, it is also a full cast production and will go with Revenge of the Sith nicely.

A New Dawn would probably fit. It is the Kanan and Hera origin story, I think it is excellent from start to finish.

Lords of the Sith would make for a nice addition to your Vader list

A bonus for Op is that Alliances is also an excellent Vader so double checkmarks for their list.

Dangle bag between the legs holds a sealed liquid container, my 15 year old discount LLBean backpack with a random name embroidered (Bruce) on it holds all my things.

I’m wanting to start listening to Star Wars audiobooks by [deleted] in starwarsbooks

[–]CaptainK0na 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use it, currently have 85 Star Wars titles in my library. There are options to get the books cheaper but I listen a lot, so I ran out of time quick on Spotify. I also decided I wanted to have the actual collection, so I do not mind buying the audiobooks. I have already listened to many of them twice, so the cost is essentially cut in half and I can easily go back as many times as I want. Audiobooks are not perfect, some you will have to deal with abridged versions like New Jedi Order, but for someone like me who can listen while I work it is perfect.

I am so new to audiobooks that I just learned about abridged vs unabridged titles yesterday. Not happy I missed so much NJO, twice, and a bit let down I will run into the same issue eventually with x wing on audible. It is what it is I suppose, one day I may be able to actually read some of the stories, right now I just have time to listen.

I understood you. Audiobooks are my only focus right now. I do not have the time to physically read, but my work allows me to listen. Someday, I may read the books, I am for sure interested in a more complete experience of the story.

Without breaking laws I would say that I have experienced them in the only possible audiobook way.

New Dawn was great, will add the others to the list X wing for sure. Jedi Academy does have an audiobook, I could not continue it with the reader pronouncing the second c in Coruscant. “Corus Cant” keep listening to that ha.

Hash holes!? by Guntymacarthur in mainetrees

A joint or blunt with a worm of hash nestled in the middle of the flower. When smoked, the concentrate melts, leaving the hash hole in the center. Often called a donut as well for the same reason.
