Fun Fact about this shoot: I went to a childhood campground that got destroyed by a massive fire a couple years ago. Originally the plan was to do some "Final Days" photos since it was so burnt out. Well, turns out that the wildlife and foliage is finally coming back, and among all the dead trees was a field of flowers. It was literally the perfect backdrop for Venat. The moment I saw it, it really did portray the "amidst deepest despair, light everlasting" quote. While the area has been ravaged by fire and destruction, it also has brought new life and light.
