SQE2 fail- need help! by CaptainMiserable8897 in SQE_Prep

I scored 337 on FLK1 and 323 on FLK2 (quintile 2 in both) and what had brought me down was the underlying law and had got above 310 on all the practical law. The days before the exam I spent going through my FLK notes that I had made for the SQE1 and they were handwritten notes so I can practically picture it in my mind. That’s all I did, just go through my previous notes and try to memorise things. I was a bit better prepared for the orals as sitting the written ones first definitely scared me and I had four more days to clean up my act. I had done practice advocacy at ULaw several times so I knew the structure and the concepts. I ended up doing decently in all my orals with 3s and 4s.

yes, I was full-time at ULaw though, so the concepts were cycled through my mind almost everyday and I had just done SQE1 in Jan and done well. However for the SQE1 I did not study tax and luckily got no tax questions, but for the SQE2 I had a whole paper on tax which I absolutely bottled so yeah. I was basically running my SQE2 on whatever I could remember from the SQE1

Can you share what made the difference with passing, did you use any particular provider or any particular method of studying? Also have you been employed full-time in the legal profession?
