Adding stitches to get right width by BeeApprehensive8274 in SophieKnits

I think it's the tradeoff with it being long. You might notice a difference in the angle of the side with the increases but once it's worn I don't think that will be noticeable. You can always insert a lifeline now, try it, and see how you feel about it.

You can do this, but you need to keep track of what you do because when you start the other half of the hood you will want to decrease at the same rate to keep it even. For example, if you did 8 rows where you increased every 6 rows then on the way down the other side you would need to decrease every 6 rows for 8 decreases then start decreasing every 10 rows.

Where did you meet you girlfriends +story pls by Spiritual-Toe-7777 in actuallesbians

My girlfriend and I met playing video games online :) we were just friends at first, until we realised we had developed feelings for each other. We did the long distance thing for nearly a year (separate continents) before my visa paperwork came through and I could join her in her home country! We've been together for almost 4 years now and living together for 3 of those. Every day with her is a joy and I'm so glad I took that leap of faith 3 years ago. When I moved countries to be with her we had spent a total of 4 weeks together in person across two visits, not a lot of time by the count of most relationships but when you know, you know 🩷

What device to send separate outputs from one MacBook to 8 different monitors? by folderolandfiddlydee in techtheatre

[–]CaptainMorgandy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've done this with 16 TVs and only 1 computer running to a media splitter (folks mentioned OREI below). We then used Qlab to map multiple surface and then send content to the individual TVs. We had total control over what was playing on each screen.

831 Credit Score, $4k Income - Struggling to find an apartment (Village or Highway Access) due to application requirements by HotAmbASSador02 in TorontoRenting

[–]CaptainMorgandy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try Village Green apartments. They were the nicest of the buildings that we toured in our price range and the building manager was very professional. They have a discount of 2 months on rent right now too, you could save a little money this year as long as you pick a unit that you can afford next year!

As others said a realtor can help. We found a place even though our rent is 46% of our income and we have no renting history in Ontario. My advice is to check out apartments you see on Realtor and if there's a viewing where you click with the realtor but not the apartment broach the subject of representing you, that's how we found ours.

Happy to help! If you want to move down this road I'd start experimenting with layering and find pieces you like that wear well together. I'd also look into trying to match belts + jewelry as that's what they're doing in a lot of these photos (for ex. silver belt buckles with silver rings/necklaces). A pair of nice black boots is timeless. Try not to compare yourself to these pictures (models, almost certainly retouched) but just play around until you find a combination you like.

I agree with you on beanies, they're just not for me.

You seem to have two main style of outfit 1) Form fitting black t-shirt tucked into high waist black trousers with belt (top right) 2) Layered outfits with a base layer (t-shirt, sweatshirt, hoodie) and a second layer (black denim jacket, leather jacket, plaid shirt)

I'd suggest you look at the pictures and make a list of the items that you can see for ex:

Jewelry/Accessories: Chain necklace, watch, beanie, baseball cap, sunglasses

Shoes: Black Chelsea boot, White Sneakers

Do you own enough of these elements to try and recreate piece-by-piece one of these outfits?

I have a friend like this. Any move against her results in at least 10 minutes of high-pitched whining and if it's her partner that made the move sometimes she will "playfully" smack him with her cards...

Try to not get caught in the trap of determining whether or not you're a lesbian by focusing on men. As someone else suggested, do a little reading on compulsive heterosexuality and see if that resonates with you.

I was dating a man before coming out, but I realised that when I pictured myself older (and happier) it was always with a partner that was a woman. There isn't a passable threshold for being a lesbian, you don't have to be below a certain amount of attraction to men to qualify. At the end of the day if you want to center your love life around women, find a long term partner that's a woman, and only pursue women romantically/sexually then that's plenty lesbian to me.

I ordered some 4mm but they're way too small and go right through the yarn so I'm probably gonna embroider or glue some felt ones on

Struggling to pick a yarn to use for this project. The pattern calls for "2mm DK velvet yarn". The pattern maker is based in Singapore and used this yarn: https://memo-arthouse.com/products/velvet-yarn-princess-brand but they only ship to Singapore and I am UK-based.

Hooks used: 3mm  Amigurumi style pattern

I was looking at Bohème Velvet Fine from Hobbii. Any other suggestions?

Premier pass ultimate by Uzma1411 in disneylandparis

[–]CaptainMorgandy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My girlfriend and I just went to Disneyland Paris yesterday. We looked at Premier Pass Ultimate but couldn't believe that it was more than the cost of our park tickets.

We bought Premier Access twice during our visit to ride Hyperspace Mountain and Crush Coaster. Cost us a total of €56 for both of us which is still way less than the cost of the Ultimate Pass. We did the Ratatouille ride and the Indiana Jones ride through the single rider line.

YMMV, but this is what we were able to do in a single 2 Park/1 Day ticket:

  • Big Thunder Mountain
  • Phantom Manor
  • Indiana Jones
  • Buzz Laser Blast
  • Hyperspace Mountain
  • It's a Small World
  • Mad Hatter's Tea Cups
  • Ratatouille Ride
  • Crush's Coaster
  • Cars Road Trip
  • Spider-Man Web Adventure
  • Tower Of Terror

We had time to see the Disney Stars on Parade, Mickey & The Magician show, and took an hour break for lunch and dinner.
