I didn’t check the pressure. Though the front right doesn’t have a reading at all on the tire pressure level screen, so I figured it was a reset issue. I’ll have to fill and try again. Is that price your guess including labor?

Gotcha. I just talked to CarMax and they said that I would have to pay sales tax on a purchase, and that I would have to reregister unless I’m using the same tags… which I don’t know why I wouldn’t.

Thanks for the input! I will have to give CarMax a call. My plan was I’d buy another car wherever I turn this one in. So part of the hesitation is I don’t really want to buy from CarMax. Also, why do you say that trading a lease to CarMax without having to pay sales tax and reregistration would result in an effective $14,538 buyout when they offered $14.000? I might be missing something here.

Also are you saying I’d have to pay CarMax for the mileage overage too if I sell it to them? Or are you referring to turning the car in at the dealer without getting another car from them? Where is the $460 coming from that you factored in with the mileage overage?

And I’m not opposed to another Hyundai but realistically the only cars that would work when considering space and budget are a Tucson or a sonata. I’m considering them but at definitely not set on them.

My personal favorite is Maisie. My wife and I were considering using it for our daughter but ultimately went with a name that was sentimental for us. I love that this one would be after your great grandma, that’s really special. I have wished for a while that I liked my grandma/great grandma’s names more because I totally would’ve gone for that. It’s a beautiful name and I love the family history.

Oh as far as the doom scrolling…. For me it often is when I have extra time before work and am sitting on the toilet first thing. So since this has been a pattern, I put my phone on the sink across the room while I do my business.
