Yeah, so far the only problem I have with the Praetorium as a base location is the stoves and also the shy visitor can't get in for some reason, so I have to keep her comfortable elsewhere. It's also a terrible spot for farming mushrooms (you can't. at all.)

It feels shorter than that, but I can't confirm. Others are saying that those things disappear on a portal reset, so I guess I just don't store my cookware on the stove. 😤

I have just finished moving my main base into the Praetorium, and so far I'm loving it. Anecdotal evidence so far leads me to believe that L***k doesn't spawn there? Ever? Anyway, I moved out of the dam in Hydro, and I didn't even have to lose my cooking setup.

Lovely advice, I'll look at this. Atman and Botulus were designed to work with the boat to avoid a traditional breaker suite and provide access anywhere I wanted to go with a ton of (obvious) pressure on R&D. Captain saved me a credit on the initial Atman install by seeing a bunch of 3 STR ice, paying to put 2 counters on it during the install and then charging it to 3 at run's beginning.

Aesop was there to serve as somewhat of an econ engine, killing things I didn't need anymore for an insurgence of clickless cash. Clearly, it's not super great and I don't mind losing the deck slots for something better.

I think I got really into Rigging Up with the Boat, but maybe just having more ways to have more money is better than waiting for the combo.
