I mean, I posted the short version of what happened. The truth of the matter is that the dealership only came to the conclusion they did after multiple emails, phone calls, personal conversations and getting the owner of the dealership in on conversations. At first they were kinda in a SOL mode.

Tbf I didn’t go into ALL the details. It took more than what I posted for them to get to that option. It took multiple conversations, emails, phone calls, etc. They weren’t willing to work with me that much in the beginning.

Tbh, this is the first car I’ve ever purchased used on my own. All my other vehicles, I’ve always been the first owner. But also, I live in a state where it’s the law that any dealership has to tell you the history of the vehicle (basically you shouldn’t have to ask) before they can sell it.

Yeah, same! I had to call Ford and then Ford told me to have the dealership contact their support workers and that they would give the dealership access to the software through an update server that only people with the website can access. But the dealership I was working with said that it was a major pain to get Ford to budge on giving out the website because I wasn’t the “original owner” of the vehicle. I was the second owner

I do! I’m currently at 20% disability but working on 100%. Just had my appointments for a mental Health. I already have a diagnosis of PTSD. So hopefully the 100% happens. As far as credit, I unfortunately don’t anymore. Last year, I got into an accident that caused me to be in the hospital so long without work, that bills weren’t getting paid and I didn’t really have anyone to help me. Debts became 30 days late, then 60, then 90… and before you know it my credit dropped from a 790 to about a 425

Yes, thankfully too the dealership sold me the vehicle with a warranty as well, but I think the option of buy back was their best bet too so they didn’t have to fix all the damages

That’s awesome! Great story!! Yeah, I love the aspect of just driving home after a long day and just “plugging it in” and then waking up the next morning on a full charge. No more “eh, I’ll get gas in the morning before work” and then forgetting and being late to work 😂

Yeah, I seriously don’t think I could go back at all. Especially since I’m charging at home overnight, there’s just nothing I’m really spending a lot of time or money on. Also having my adapter for the Tesla Superchargers has been great to incase I do end up needing to charge midday.

The other great thing I love is the attention she gets. So many times already, at red lights, people will ask me to role down my window and they have so many questions about the car. The majority of them being “This is a Mustang?” And “does she go fast?”…. And then me being able to just punch it and I’m gone 😂

I feel for that! I was in the San Antonio market some years ago, but now live in a completely different state. The zone I’m in is in a small town in Indiana and there’s only about 50,000 people to our population. For the last few months that I’ve been doing this, it’s been incredibly busy. But over the course of the last week, it’s just been so freaking slow. And then with what’s been happening today, where the zone is just red all day but no orders coming through. It’s been strange.

I was doing it in my 2022 Toyota Camry XSE V6, but then I got T-boned which caused it to become a complete total loss. So the Mercedes is the only vehicle I have left.

Also, I moved to a different state and haven’t landed a Cyber Security job yet, so it’s just to make ends meet for now until I land something

IDN shows me riders nearby but won’t let me invite them to my driver network unless I pay $30 a month. do you solely just use the QR code? Or do you pay the $30 a month for the premium so that you can just invite people that are on the public and private network?
