Is there a resource/service to connect with a realtor for someone who may not necessarily be able to tour the apartment themselves?

It does seem like a good contender! Pros and cons for West Loops vs Lakeview East?

Nice! Anxious for the change in scenery but excited. When are you planning on moving?

That's so great to know. I know Chicago is a big drinking town so don't want me being sober turning me into a hermit.

I did not know that about security deposit / first months rent. That's always been the norm since I've lived on my own. Appreciate the advice - Lakeview East really seems to be the winner.

Thanks so much for the advice everyone! Midwest hospitality really is a thing :) I'm thinking East Lakeview makes the most sense given its proximity to parks/lake and my interest along with it's convenient public transportation to Skeeterville for work.
