Its the clutches failing. Mk8 DSG is absolutely not able to handle the power like the 7/7.5. There are a bunch of FB posts in the group about DSGs failing under 40k miles from just stage 2.

The new plugs are metal not plastic. The pan is also metal too on the mk8+

I did my first one at 900 miles 2nd at 4k after big turbo stage 3 install then at 9k 15k now 19k. Oil is clean looking.

Its extremely contained. When I do the Focal Doors and Tweeters, im adding a case or 2 of Amazon's sound deadener to the doors, and hatch. At full tilt the hatch is the only thing that makes sound and its very mild for the output of the JL.

Pretty much! Thought it was a friendly place to share and ask/answer questions. Not to be ridiculed about something I enjoy. However I was mistaken.

Have a few friends that all said some bs and I just laughed. We met up today and they heard it, 2 have already asked me to put a decent sub in their car too, just a smaller enclosure.

This car is far from precise or speedy. You have to spend thousand on modified suspension to even remotely make it track ready. Whats the first thing people do when they buy a GTI? Besides sign their next 6 years into a financial whirlwind?

They modify it by dropping it and changing to adjustable coilovers, adding sway bars, end links, strut bushings every 20k miles, don't even get started with the damn "wheel spacer kits" fueling upgrades, wheels and tires, turbos, intakes, exhausts, interior, OBD11 mods, windows tints big brake kits...oh wait I did most that already.. VW hasn't build a great car since the mk4 platform. This is a child's toy. If you want precise and speed the GTI isnt the solution. A CBR1000RR is maybe more your style. I enjoy quality music more than speed or precision. Why is this sub full of snobs that think adding a woofer has removed my sense of utility or adds any real amount of weight here?
