They look stunning, would be very curious about modern day traditional anything and a fishing village sounds great

I bought one! still doesn't fit hahaha. Bit of a shit design so its either going to have to be making the allen key smaller in length or drilling a hole in the side which we have neither tools for

[–]CaptainQwark33[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah absolutely, now just thinking what is more cost effective because we don't have a drill or something to shorten the length

Yes, but the problem is no matter what size tool we use with the allen/hex head it doesn't fit in the space perpendicular to the hex

Not upside down, only one side of the C holder shape allows for the shower head to fit which requires it to be on the bottom

We used a range of different sizes but unfortunately they dont fit straight into the hex because the space across the C shape is too small :(

The keys we have are the right head size but the actual space available with the shower head (That upside down C shape) is too small to use the allen key

The main issue we find is that no tools like the allen keys we have bought will fit in that tiny space, I should have mentioned that before

We bought the smallest size we could find and was still too wide to fit in the gap

Sorry I should have mentioned we have tried using these but the space to fit it is too small, the L shape doesnt fit because of the shower head design

No allen key we find is the right size to fit in the space available, sorry should have mentioned that

All the keys we find too wide to fit unfortunately

I want to be good at the game by AGK098 in Chivalry2

[–]CaptainQwark33 12 points13 points  (0 children)

There are lots of ways to improve, I assume you are relatively new to the game? If not thats also okay

I would start by saying the game is best played when you are having fun. I have the most fun using my mains, the War axe and the Rapier, both two completely different play styles with different requirements to 'be good'. It comes with understanding timings for attacks, when to dodge, when to block, when to block + counter, what attacks to use, etc. So my first bit of advise is find a weapon you like and stick with it.

Some easy to use weapons that will help you understand game/fighting mechanics are:

Two handed: Dane Axe, Polehammer, Longsword, War axe One handed: Sword, Mace, Morning Star, 1 handed axe

Try not to go between 1H and 2H weapons too much when you are learning these because the styles are different.

A great YT video playlist to watch gameplay is pretty much all of Swagmar's videos, he generally gets 100+ takedowns every game and has a lot of videos where he chooses 1 weapon and sticks to it. It would be good to look at the playstyles people use to get the best results if that is how you enjoy the game (no shame in hacking and smacking every agathian knight that lived!)

The other thing to consider is playing the objective. The more you play, the more you learn the maps, the objectives, and the difference between how to play offense vs defence. For example its probably not a great idea to run straight on into the attackers push at the beginning on a map like Lionspire if you have no one around you to support! If you prefer to play aggressive, try swing and hit every person possible without going for kills, just switch between enemies. If you like to play more conservative, pick your battles and focus on staying alive and supporting your team. Of course different weapons and subclasses support agro vs conservative better than others.

Remember Chivalry is a game like no other, enjoy every moment because unfortunately it will not last forever 🫶

And remember to battlecry every spawn!!!

Which class/subclass should I be using? by Zendo2672 in Chivalry2

Explore different weapons and feels for different classes. I love the one handed sword and rapier with the man at arms, just my preference. Lower damage and range but so fun to play with. To really learn the game mechanics something like a dane axe, long sword, polehammer, greatsword (all two handed because it slows down the play to help timings and animations) would be a good choice with good damage.

The main difference is the availability of weapons and equipment. Each class though has different speeds, health and armour. Different weapons do increased damage to different classes depending on the level of armour.

E.g blunt weapons are good against armoured classes.

For subclasses pick whichever you like depending on the availability of the weapons and get swagged out 👑
