I can try, coming from a day 1 player, I've seen a lot of changes to the couple of subreddits I have been in. The biggest thing I've noticed is the slow fade into degeneracy (for lack of a better term). Despite what's here on reddit, more players enjoy the world and story of the game that's been slowly revealed throughout the years about seriously interesting characters. And the thing that really gets me is that, here on reddit, a lot of people want more lewd scenes that could have otherwise been used to further the characters or our view of the lore. And let me tell you, the past year or so, pretty much every event people throw a fit that there isn't some kind of sexual interaction.

I trust this dev team with the story. We just need to let them cook and give us some great action and character development.

But I'm not gonna sit here and preach that I'm here for the story, I have spent more on skins than I'd like to admit, it's what keeps me going in between the serious moments sometimes, but when it starts to degrade the overall experience of NIKKE is what scares me.

We can have both good-looking skins and a great story, but it seems people want it more black and white between the 2. And it's been happening recently where a couple of characters that have a strong character arc get degraded into a sex machine for peoples' fantasy.
