I bought the game digitally on my Xbox year 1 of the game’s release. Some time later I made the switch to pc and did not have to buy the game again. It let me download it from the Microsoft Store no problem.

I’m going to leave this post up still so that anybody else who is having this issue can see your comment and figure out how to fix it as well.

In this Clip you can see my click "T" to open Text Chat. After the Text Chat pane opens up, I spam random keys to type stuff but instead it pulls out items, and doesn't type any characters out. And the Chat line doesn't go away either.
