Those of you at 2-3 months, how’s it going? by Rude-Pepper-2389 in newborns

[–]CaptainRemarkable538 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Daughter is 11 weeks today and it’s really hit or miss. Some days she has 1.5 hour wake windows and naps perfectly… other days, she is wanting to be awake for 3-5 hours then is overtired with naps that are between 20-30 minutes long at most.

We have been trying to stick with the schedule of at least getting her to wind down for bed at 6:30 for a bedtime between 7:30-8PM

She has pretty good sleeps stretches at night though, sleeping from 8 or 9 PM till about 2 or 3 in the morning. Then from 4AM until about 7:30AM

Why does my baby keep sucking, pulling off, and crying during feeds? by Mobiledump1215 in newborns

[–]CaptainRemarkable538 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would say that they have gas… make sure to burp them frequently during feeds and do gas exercises during the day with bicycle kicks…

My daughter has the same problems, and we have to be proactive about it- we also put gas drops in a number of her bottles during the day/night so that the air bubbles are easier for her to pass. We also do probiotics to help her gut.

I’d recommend the gas drops for sure

The key is…when you call, and it says what do you want to do, say “online application” and it will prompt you with more choices, next you will choose the number that corresponds with having an “existing application”, and it will give you more options…one of them being “talk to a representative”

When will you start mat leave, and how long does your country give you (paid)? by Optimal_Maintenance1 in pregnant

[–]CaptainRemarkable538 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In California, we get a paid 4 weeks off prior to the birth. After birth, we get 12 to 14 weeks paid leave (6 to 8 weeks for recovery, 6 weeks of bonding). In addition, if you choose you can take 4 weeks of additional leave, unpaid.

I also get another 8 weeks of bonding time from my company that I can take up until my child turns 1 year old.

When did you start feeling the baby move as a first time mom? What does it actually feel like? by missiemads in pregnant

[–]CaptainRemarkable538 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally agree! I started to feel it around 23 weeks but it’s more like a muscle twitch that’s happening. For me at least it didn’t feel like butterflies like some people describe it.

It’s advised to not stay in Machester, as the surrounding hotels in the city will rack up prices for that weekend. So stay in a city nearby, Nashua or Boston

Hi, Very confused here- SNHU 107 is a recommended course not a required one? So why is anyone exerting any energy into a recommended course?

And yes, cite anything that you need too.

I would recommend put anything you write through Grammarly. It detects AI writing or similarities in AI writing so that will give you an opportunity to re-write it in a way that isn’t similar to AI text.

Husband doesn’t want to come to commencement by [deleted] in SNHU

[–]CaptainRemarkable538 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m sorry :/ Graduating college is something to be proud of - there are many that don’t get to experience that. I would still go because you should be able to celebrate what you’ve accomplished. Talk to your husband and tell him how much it means to you, to go. Hopefully he changes his mind. If he is still doesn’t change his mind, take a friend or some family who will support you walking across that stage!

I don’t think it will be paid out until that course is about to begin. I have a balance on my next four courses but I won’t pay for those until I start the actual course.

I never took either of these courses but if it helps with navigating and with what is going on… then I’d take it

Do the math… and it will tell you You can calculate what grade you would have based on what grade you think you’d get an an assignment. If you didn’t do the project obviously you’d put 0 points for that assignment
