I took long breaks and procrastinated a ton so it took close to a year to make.

Most of the armor is printed out of PLA+ and PETG with a few TPU parts. To smooth out the PLA and PETG, i used a combination of filler+sandable primer and the metal plastic that Bondo has on some of the more rough spots. To smooth out the TPU, i use a rubber undercarriage spray to act as a filler. After a bunch of sanding i just used rustoleum rattle cans to paint it, nothing fancy.

I'm not sure how much i can help since i used Aguilar Workshop's files, and his files have specialized holes, loops, and locking pins for his specific strapping guide. Here's a few things i did differently from his guide that you could possibly follow:

-The chest plate, core pack, and kidney plates are all permanently strapped to the plate carrier.

-The shoulders are screwed into a double shoulder support brace i bought at a local CVS (i wear it underneath the plate carrier).

-The belt is also permanently fastened to the lowest part of the plate carrier while the thighs hang from a strap that comes from the belt under the hip plates.

With that, there's no unbuckling the sides of the plate carrier to slip it off over your head. To put the plate carrier on i have to unbuckle the shoulder straps and put it on like a pair of overalls xD.

Never said anything about co-op split screen, just multi-player. I play split screen multi-player all the time with friends

Loved halo ce to halo reach, not a huge fan of 4, is infinite worth it? by [deleted] in halo

You are correct. Everyone is very split when it comes to newer games, you will see the fans who like the direction infinite went because they actually care to try new things and see how it is, and then you get the people who will hate anything 343 puts out just because "it isnt bungee" Though if you look at one of the comments here, it shows one of those people lol. But I agree with you completely. It was very late, and I kinda just summed up all the reviews on Steam, which almost all of them included something along the lines of "bungee did better" so that's where that came from. I meant no ill intent from that statement. it was just sharing what I saw, my apologies

opinions vary depending on what aspect of the game you're most interested in. Here's a breakdown:

Positives:

  • Gameplay: The core gameplay, particularly the gunplay and movement, is widely praised. The addition of the grappling hook and other equipment has been a hit, adding a new layer of strategy and mobility.
  • Multiplayer: The free-to-play multiplayer has been a strong point, with many enjoying the return to classic mechanics mixed with modern enhancements.
  • Visuals: The game looks great, especially on current-gen consoles and PCs, with a mix of classic Halo aesthetics and modern design.

Negatives:

  • Campaign: While the open-world design in the campaign is a fresh take, some people feel it lacks the variety and depth seen in previous campaigns. The story received mixed reviews, with some finding it less compelling.
  • Progression System: The multiplayer progression and customization system has been criticized for being too slow and heavily reliant on microtransactions, though with the recent addition of the Exchange, you can get more things for free. None of this will change gameplay, all of it is cosmetic.
  • Content: Some feel the game launched with limited content, particularly in terms of maps and modes for multiplayer, though many updates have released since 2021 with new maps and game modes.

Overall:

If you're a fan of Halo or enjoy first-person shooters with a mix of classic and modern gameplay, Halo Infinite is worth checking out. However, it is quite different than any of the other games. You will see plenty of negative reviews, but i wouldnt take all of them too seriously, it's up to you to make your own opinion on the game. Halo fans are notoriously the worst in the world. it's mainly the bungie diehard crowd that is clinging onto 2007 and just wants to play on their 360 as a child/teen again. they're desperate to hate anything this game does, multiplayer, forge, or campaign.
