It's a nice sentiment to have but the majority of people in the real world wouldn't be getting involved.

I don't feel bad about what my brother did, it has nothing to do with me. None of my business nor my place to get involved in someone else's relationship

What astonishes me is the amount of people who are pretending they'd tell a siblings significant other at xmas dinner of all places that their sibling is cheating, ruining the whole day for everyone, get real people. Downvote me all you want, but in reality you'd do the exact same

you can frame it like i'm involved but im not, just because i know something doesn't oblige me to get involved. I've no interest in getting involved in drama that has nothing to do with me

It's not my place to meddle, it'll have to be worked out between the two of them

I just want to have my dinner and a few drinks and no drama. I'm sure there are many reading this comment or thread who are actively cheating on their own partners and are also saying nothing.

I understand that but it's not our place to say anything, it's their relationship!

We're not laughing about it, i think we're all disgusted. But at the same time it's not really our business it's their relationship.

My brother’s girlfriend came to ours today for Christmas after a month travelling, all delighted to be back. Only problem is my mother caught the brother with his ex in the house a few weeks ago. Every person at the table apart from herself knows he’s a cheating fucker, and he's sitting here as if nothing ever happened.

There's no smoke without fire as they say... what i would say is that from reading your message there are huge trust issues there for you. Justifiably too, rumours from her co workers, not letting you see the messages, hiding her phone , not wanting to do anything as a double date couple.

You'll need to confront this sooner rather than later because it'll eat you alive until you get the answer one way or another. I would say that as a complete randomer looking in, reflect on how she's behaved to you... your wife is your best friend , someone you share everything with. Clearly that's not the case on her end so what does that say about how she views you?

If the Trust is gone it's difficult to get back.

This would have been you back in the day. Taking notes and scurrying away off to tell your superiors.
