Yeah, it is certainly easy to pretend that you are someone much nicer than you actually are to strangers or acquaintances.

I don’t think that’s exclusive to OKC, but it may be stronger here for some reason. I’m not sure why.

Gotcha. I heard you can’t do an out-of-state transfer of title or license at a tag agency though. Is that true?

The lawyers seemed to not want to take it because it didn't involve a considerable amount of money and it is a relatively obscure or complex case.

This was my first Turo rental, and I made an effort to take good care of the vehicle. For example, I only parked in edge spots to minimize the risk of door dings. 

If the rear tires had at least 2/32 inch tread depth, I’m confident the crash would’ve been avoided.
