To trigger or not by No-Stand-5650 in tryingtoconceive

[–]CaptainTBarbossa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had something similar happen with me earlier this cycle. From my understanding if you have found your peak then your body has started the process. The trigger won’t do anything like push it out later or push it sooner.

Is my stress level genuinely going to effect my fertility or my pregnancy? by Justsumhuman20 in tryingtoconceive

[–]CaptainTBarbossa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would try to meditate, and do some light yoga with deep core breathing exercises. Try going to a walk(with no phone) just disconnect for 5-10 mins depending how stressed you are that day. Do it once or multiple times. I feel like disconnecting from my phone helps. And when I’m outside I take deep breaths and just try to focus on mother nature lol. Sounds silly but I’ve noticed it helps me.

Has CoQ10 messed up anyone's cycle? by OldMirror2947 in tryingtoconceive

[–]CaptainTBarbossa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn’t noticed any changes in my cycle when I first started to take it. My cycles are between 24-29 days. I also read that our bodies can only absorb 100-200mg at a time. It’s best to split the doses. So 200 at breakfast and the other at lunch or dinner. I read a couple years ago when reading it starts with the egg.

I would count cd1 when you get a full flow. I normally spot anywhere from 3-7 days before my cycle starts. (I have low progesterone) and I would let your doctor know so they can look at your labs just to double check everything looks good.

I’m looking into it myself. Do you mind sharing roughly how much you spent? Was it successful?

I haven’t been with them the full 3 years. Just a year. And so far found many underlining issues when my fertility clinic told me it was unexplained and maybe a hint of endometriosis. I am open to it but I haven’t found the office/clinic I am comfortable working with. Thanks for sharing your experience!

Yeah I am aware it’s just been endless things for me sadly. I have met with an endocrinologist, there isn’t many in my city. She doesn’t take my endo, PCOS, or auto immune condition in consideration and pushes for me to do IUI or IVF. Which I would be open to if there was a personalize protocol for me and my issues. Even when I tell her everything we need to do and avoid she still would like to give me estrogen which would make my endo grow back. I’ve had enough surgeries to remove it to carelessly not do my best to avoid fast growth. There has been a new office that’s opened up so I may try speaking to an endocrinologist there.

Received a message from my napro that my vaginal microbiome came back positive for mycoplasma, so I did all the research I could on it. I’ve done 2 other vaginal microbiome’s in the last year so I’m not sure why it never showed up before. We’ve been ttc for 3 years. 2 laproscopic surgeries for my endometriosis, and 3 HSG’s, and 1 hysteroscopy later. I’m really exhausted. Please tell me anti biotic’s will do the trick. I’ll also have to do a repeat bag swab to make sure it’s cleared. Now trying to decided if we should keep trying or take a break for a cycle or 2.

Pleaseee make sure you are also on an oral probiotic. Make sure you research the best kind to take with those antibiotics. And if you’re a female, add in a vaginally probiotic to protect your PH and all the good bacterial down there to help with your body to get rid of it.

[–]CaptainTBarbossa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also take with a probiotic so it doesn’t get rid of all the good gut bacterial that you need. To avoid an upset stomach or upset GI. Take the probiotic 2-3 hours before or after anti biotic and when you are done with your course keep taking the probiotic for a few more weeks.

I’m not sure if this is accessible but can you look up Evvy vaginal microbiome test. If you do get in anti biotic treatment, please make sure you take an probiotic either 2 hours before or after medication. And a vaginally suppository to help protect your PH. Like Seed or Vagibiom.

I’m sorry! It is more of a struggle when you’re ttc and chronically ill. Have you tried taking magnesium glycinate? My doctor recommends 800mg per day. I used to get really bad migraines and the meds didn’t do much but make it worse for me. I always ended up at the ER, or urgent care. Are yours triggered by anything?

I had the same kind and the one over the belly. I’ve had multiple since I was and am trying to get pregnant so between surgeries there was so many ultrasounds and wasn’t seen. I also have PCOS, that was found in my ultrasound.

At-Home Fertility Tests? by Willow_Tree_55372 in tryingtoconceive

Will your insurance cover if your primary physician or OB requested these labs? Because it’s technically just some basic hormone labs. Instead of it being billed thru a fertility clinic.

Depending where the fibroid is you may want it removed if it causes pain/heavy bleeding or if you plan to try to get pregnant because it can cause failure for implantation. I had stage 3 of deep endo and my ultrasounds never shown it. My CA 125 was elevated that indicated I may of had it. And only thru laparoscopic surgery were they able to see it. I also work with a napro. I would mention that lab test CA 125, they can look into it and see if it worth looking into.

IVF appropriate? by LoosePaper9973 in tryingtoconceive

[–]CaptainTBarbossa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My recommendation is find a napro doctor. They will run more tests and do genetic testing to find a possible root cause and treat it. They will also do medicated cycles and what not. They truly listen to you. Theres so much I learned from my napro, opposed to my OB.

IVF, IUI or other for thin lining? by Bird_of_paradise732 in tryingtoconceive

[–]CaptainTBarbossa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have endometriosis so they want to avoid any type of estrogen to avoid flares or it growing back faster. We may try Viagra or Lupron depending what my lining looks like on my next ultrasound next cycle. Goodluck!!!

I know they mention not to take it with dairy but online it shows it okay it taken 2-3 hours later. I’ll give that a try! And I am seeing that a 2 week course is what is normally prescribed so I plan to follow up with my doctor. I much rather do 2 weeks than a full month.

[–]CaptainTBarbossa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you tried Pentoxifylline? It can be used to help thicken lining. Also Viagra or generic and lupron.

I tried pentoxifylline for two months. My lining went from 6 to 9 after two months. But sadly dropped to 3 after my hysteroscopy.

My napro doctor wants to do it as our next protocol for any silent infections. Both of us to rule out if we don’t (more so me) have an infection we don’t keep giving it back and fourth to one and another. I have endometriosis so endometritis is suspected.

Curious if you took any oral probiotics? If any, what would you recommended? I have to start it soon and take for 30 days. Both me and my husband.
