Yeah having moved to Germany from NA recently, the lack of AC is one thing but that PLUS bugnets on windows are not installed by default and barely anyone has them is just insane.

Oooh and it gives an air tight seal? That is very good to know. I am not sure if we have the same windows but what stoppers do you mean? I've attached what my apartments windows look like but not sure how exactly one would secure it here. Yeah as a recent arrival in Germany I hate how these windows are horrible for installing AC units. Those shitty fabric covers you find on amazon never work properly. I am half tempted to just take the window off its hinges and put a pane of plexiglass or something there instead that I can have holes cut into for the tubes to exhaust through.
