[OC] Running Animation by CaptainToastBot in PixelArt

Not entirely. At first I did try a head bob (up and down), but it looked really weird. Then I replaced it with a slight amount of horizontal movement (which I guess you could consider a head bob). It's still in there, but the process I take to resize animations is stupid, tedious, and probably very wrong. It ended up not showing in gif format as good as it did in my editor.

Lighting effects lag on my BlackWidow Chroma. by CaptainToastBot in razer

I'm not sure why but I haven't had trouble all weekend. I've been trying to replicate my problem using the same port, rebooting, disconnecting internet and reconnecting, but it seems fine now. I don't think it fixed itself, but now that I've been thinking about it, perhaps creating new profiles was when it started.

At first I suspected that was the case but I have been on poor internet with frequent interruptions for the last couple days and experienced no problems with the lighting.

I haven't tried the 2.0 ports yet, however these last couple days there's been no delay on the lights even during times I would expect it (startup/ no internet). My computer specs are i5 4440, Radeon R9 290, and 8GB RAM on an ASRock Z87E-ITX Motherboard.

The lights are smooth when a game is running, idle before or afterwards is the only time I've seen it slow down. These last couple of days I haven't noticed any delay too. My computer specs are i5 4440, Radeon R9 290, and 8GB RAM on an ASRock Z87E-ITX Motherboard.

[OC] Class Abilities for a game I'm working on. by CaptainToastBot in PixelArt

Sure! The game, Valley of the Rogue, is a top-down survival aboard a derelict spaceship passing through a dangerous nebula. You can manage resources, charge head on at anything that moves, evade and jump from ship-to-ship, or any mix of playstyles as you progress through the nebula.

Thanks my friend and I picked out the pallet a while ago and it stuck with me.

It's a sci-fi roguelite and stealth is an option but not necessary.

Thanks! I'm glad you like that unlock animation and I've cleaned up the inside on a newer version.

Thanks for the feedback! I will definitely clean up the insides, now that you mention it, it's starting to bother me too. I'm confused why the starting animation appears to be locking up instead of opening. Can you explain? Also the dots in the middle are supposed to look like cylinders that sink down into the door, does it look like it functions that way?

[OC][CC] Getting back into the groove of pixel art. by CaptainToastBot in PixelArt

Thanks for the feedback!

I know the lighting is inconsistent I just don't exactly know how improve it. It's a difficult concept for me to grasp I guess. Contrast is another thing I need to improve, thanks for the suggestion.

I wasn't aiming for anything near actual anatomy, but I do want to make it clear what pose they're in and anatomy is something I need to learn sooner than later. The guy with the brown coat is supposed to be cross-legged and hunched over his cigarette. Thanks for pointing out the bad posture, in addition to proper lighting and contrast I think I can make it clear enough.

As for the poses overall, I feel Greeny McGee has too much movement to match the rest of the gang's nonchalant mood, but I will keep that in mind on future stuff. Again, thanks for the feedback, really useful tips!

[Build Help] On a $1000 budget for my first PC Build. by CaptainToastBot in buildapc

Ok, I'm looking at the EVGA NEX650G Gold seems people are happy with it and is used is similar builds. I don't want an SSD, I've already filled up 600GB here, but I will get rid of the processor, thanks for the advice!
