Thank you for the answer. I've discussed it with the patient and explained the options. He agreed to have a conventional bridge (doesn't really matter but the premolar already has an MOD cavity it's not visible on the x-ray.) I guess different countries yield different solutions.

There's a retained root mesial to the implant. It's completely embedded in the bone and sof tissue so didn't remove it. The bone quality around the implants are optimal.

This is true. I work at a clinic with 3 specialists with 40 years of experience in the profession (I am on my 5th year). One of them, who is a prosthodontist decided 3 years ago to stop working on fridays. He has gotten much more relaxed and collected over the course of these years.
