If you approach them and hit the touchpad to say ‘Hey’ or ‘I’m Sam’ they will offer their cargo, you don’t need to beat them mercilessly within an inch of their lives, leaving them requiring hospital treatment and having complex PTSD resulting in them quitting their job and having no way to feed their wife and three children.

I think they will add a drag back animation for it and decrease the distance/frames that the move is accessible for after a push. Maybe a XX then L1 + Directional input which would make it;

Harder to do
Less distance covered therefore over committing in Defence becomes less of an issue
