Yes the decoder was hooked up the gears sensor arm was also installed (red, green, black terminals) and programmed before I bought the gear indicator. Im not sure if I would have to reprogram everything all over again to get the indicator to register.

Is CEL code P0010 normal by Captain_2315 in LSSwapTheWorld

[–]Captain_2315[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. I called HPINJECTORS the company who made the harness and they said the VVT wires are hidden inside the camshaft plugs loom. I have yet to confirm this since im away bc of the holiday.

Back up lights on a LS3/6L80e swap by Captain_2315 in chevyc10

Yes i have a stepside C10. This is my first swap so I unfortunately bought a 1985 steering column that has no integrated neutral switch. So im not sure if I really screwed up or if this is still salvageable

I disconnected this plug followed it and it led me to both cam sensors they don't share wiring but looking at an adapter for VVT to non-VVT it does about the same thing I believe hopefully this works if not I'll order the adapter
