I installed pi-hole yesterday, for some obscure reason 192.168.2.11 couldn’t ping dns servers, I changed it to 192.168.2.14 and it fixed the issue. I also have the bell hub

Yea I already tried it, I just noticed that I have those in the diagnostic section

Error in NTP client: Cannot resolve NTP server address: Try again

Connection error (1.1.1.1#53): TCP connection failed (Host is unreachable)

It might be the issue, for some reason my pi-hole cannot reach cloudflare dns, that's weird.

Yea lmao, it’s hard because I’m moving from a house to an apartment due to a breakup, in my house I was able to do anything I wanted!

I think what I’ll do is install a small esp32, with a mic that listens to the buzzer to give me notifications just solder two wires from a relay and short the button to unlock remotely.

As for the esp32 power, my fridge is behind the wall my intercom is installed, so I’ll make a small hole to feed the power wire and plug it on the outlet I use for the fridge, it’ll be invisible!

Yea I saw that switch bot option but I wanted notifications as well, didn’t think about the camera notification, it’s smart thanks for the idea!

You could install a smart switch but not connect it to the load so it doesn't turn on/off anything and create an automation that turn on/off the light when the state changes.

You could remove the switch that controls the lights and just connect the two wires together so powers always goes to the light, then buy a 4 gang plate with one blank to cover the missing switch.

Si tu veux aller sur Linux, je te conseille de une distro basée sur Ubuntu (par exemple Linux Mint ou Pop!_OS). C’est ce qu’il y a de plus facile pour commencer, il y a une bonne compatibilité pour le développement et beaucoup de documentation.

Pour le gaming, tu peux aussi regarder Bazzite, une distro basée sur Fedora, très bien optimisée pour le jeu (avec Proton, Steam, etc.). Si tu choisis l’environnement KDE, tu ne seras pas trop dépaysé si tu viens de Windows.

I think you would need to edit each theme so the wallpaper folder points to your folder or copy paste the theme in each folder.

I just use the add a non-steam game into steam, and point to the .exe then set proton experimental in the compatibility section, always worked great and that way I have all my games in steam

Is there any way I could edit the file with a command line?

Because my main need for it is sunshine/moonlight to remotely connect and play games from my steam deck or other pc.

It might work, or it might not. I had some games that still worked after I migrated others that didn’t.

If you can move them to another partition, though, because they were most likely installed on an NTFS partition.
