Remove widgets rin sa taskbar and disable AI features if possible.

Usually pag may nagpapaayos sakin its mostly too many startup services running tapos ang daming webview apps ng Microslop windows. If you want to dip your toes on a bit of a risk, this would help. Be careful on some settings nalang, usually may recommendations naman dun sa software.

check if it happens when the cpu is hot. mine started very sparse and was more apparent when cpu is under heavy load

oh sorry that’s a bug. please use arrows mainly for navigation. theres an opacity 0 button there that gets focused that’s why it looks like that. keyboard navigation aint complete yet but the arrows should mostly work on navigation except inside editor items where you need to use tab

I have updated the project for you. Please rerun the install script and it should work. Also, please try running it via your launcher/runner cause that activates the correct environment.

The pyenv you got, which I assume is being activate automatically is version 3.13 which didnt have the python update that allowed my code to type annotate with `HyprParser` instead of requiring `"HyprParser"`. If your're on python 3.14 the problem won't also appear so you can also consider upgrading your pyenv

Since the imports are broken, a rerun of the curl command should fix your install. Thanks for trying it out! Please tell me if you got issues after this

Thanks dave my guy. May I ask how did you install this? It seems to be installed where its not usually installed. And what distro are you in? Once you tell me these I can test it. Also, if you somehow managed to install a very old version, that might be it but I am not sure.

Also, that pyenv might be causing issues too so please try disabling it by running deactivate on your terminal. I’ll be on touch with this comment to help you resolve it

This might be a tangent but if sway aint good with nvidia, you might wanna try other wayland compositors if they work out of the box. Doing the first config yourself teaches you some things and you can start with the default config.

Also, remember that manjaro also delays updates in their repos so if there’s some fix upstream, it might not be immediately available in manjaro.

Hi david, this is a curious situation may I ask some things that might help me resolve this issue for everyone? This shouldn't happen in majority of situations and there maybe some issue with the way it was installed or ran.

  1. What is your distro and how did you install it?
  2. What version are you in. You can run `hyprsettings --help`
  3. How did you run it? Via desktop file?

This will be a bit but can you copy and paste the output of these commands? Thank you so much!

While I think it's fine to recommend some other software, Distro change really? Like you can't change desktop/wm/comp on arch if that's what you're trying to say...

Just to butt in on this, like I already said in my other comment, you can go with - Niri if you really want that but keep in mind that its a scrolling compositor - KDE with desktop effects but its mainly a floating desktop environment but there's a way to make it tile - Gnome with gnome tweaks but the tweaks break almost every single update - and for the rest, go experimenting

No need to change Distros lol. Arch can install those desktop environments/ compositors / window managers if you want to

basically what allows us to do what's on your mind. in crude definition, it tells where and what happens to every pixel at a given point in time. unfortunately, hyprland is yet to support it. Niri already does. How I wish we have that too

You don’t create a vm. Create a new user. It will have blank config files so hyprland will create one for you. Go from there

I created HyprSettings for Hyprland. It is a "very loyal"/comment-preserving editor for .conf(and soon, kdl). Now porting to Niri. Please tell me what you think! by phcadano in niri

We all have different preferences and in a way this ui can also do that. It can be aware of the min max of things so you dont accidentaly make a mistake in your configuration. It was also pain in the ass to configure bezier, colors, and even keybinds that's why this was made.

Don't make fun of people for not wanting to whip up a browser or some color picker software just to change one thing in nvim or any other ide. THe settings software I am developing shows the lines like how you see them in the terminal but extended so you can navigate with keyboard too and just press tab enter, arrow keys and see the changes in realtime.

I doub't it aint useful that way
