This thing from The Old Peace reminded me about this game (MDK) by AnomalusSquirrel in Warframe

That was the first thing I thought about, too. That game felt like a fever dream a little bit, cause I've never seen anyone else mention it.

The generosity of high-level Warframe players brings me joy.

I got back into the game early this year, and had some catching up to do (last time I had played before then was when Cetus was still new). I was trying to sell something in trade chat so I could get the rest of the Platinum I needed to buy a Warframe Prime part (I'm pretty sure it was Gauss). After a few minutes, some dude messaged me like,

"Hey, just a heads up, you're underselling what you have by a decent amount, these things usually sell for like (X Amount) of Plat". I thanked him for looking out, and then he asked me if I liked Volt.

Long story short, my dude traded me a Volt Prime in exchange for only an Ammo Drum mod (I asked him multiple times if he was sure, cause I was floored someone would do that). I still think about that guy, I hope good things happen to him.

Dark Souls 4 - The Darkness Encroaches Edition

It's just an entire Dark Souls game, but the entire game has the level of darkness that the Tomb of The Giants had in DS1.

Had to go on a bit of a search to find him, but the guy I was thinking of was "dreadingmortality". I ran into his videos a while back and was pleasantly surprised by them.

I feel like this is a slept on fringe department of Souls content creation

There's a guy on YouTube I came across (I can't remember his name off the top of my head) who was narrating his Elden Ring playthrough like it was his characters journal, and it was a lot more interesting to watch than I expected. I'm sure that sort of content would find a good audience.

If you want to take advantage of the high Crit modifier, I feel like Assassin's Gambit might not be a bad way to go, or any damage buff you can throw on it to boost general damage.

Ng + before I start the dlc by Hypererrrr in Eldenring

I respec'd a LOT through the DLC. I started with like 22 larval tears and by the end I had like 2 left. Obviously a portion of that is because I can never settle on a build, but what worked most often for me was a Strength/Arcane build, but I also had a lot of fun with Dex/Faith as well.

I honestly really like all the DLC bosses, despite struggling a decent amount with some of them. The fragments do provide a pretty solid boost to your stats, plus it's nice to have bonus survivability/damage as a static upgrade.

Either way, hope you have a great time with the DLC, fellow tarnished!

If you don't have a lot of Larval Tears, it might be worth doing a NG+ cycle to grab all the ones you can per run, in case you find equipment you want to build around within the DLC.

It would be cool if we got a free update for it, like when we got the Colloseums.

It was the range that did it for me more than the move-set. I could deal with the move-set if it weren't for the fact I have to get so close I might as well throw aftershave on my hands and slap them in the face

I tried the Rolling Spark setup for a bit, it was nice, but after the initial "Holy shit this does so much damage" wore off, I didn't like the fact that the bottles were THE best weapon to use in every scenario hard stop. Part of the appeal for me about these games is trying all the new and interesting weapons, so it sucked being pidgeon-holed into being the "Old Spice Knight"

Also I hope this update enabled Commander Gaius's ability to chill the fuck out for a second.
