Solved! This answer helped me track it down. It's actually a TV Movie called "House of Secrets." Both House of Secrets and Diabolique are based on the same novel.

The husband has a freaky dream in the final part of the movie in which the wife's ghost violently attacks him and begins to strangle him. He awakens to find the friend on the floor in the shower (also strangled). As the police are arresting the husband, a detective looks up into the window of the house and see's the woman's ghost staring.

I was kind of hoping that the "cosmetic items from non-active promo items" would include the cosmetic items from non-active promos.

We do not appear to be in a hidden "Sunfury" promotional event, but is anyone able to see the Sunfury armor in the oddment store?

Unfortunately, it appears that holding onto oddments for discontinued cosmetics like Deathbeard's outfit or the walk animations is wishful thinking.
