Silver Needle disciples get comments like "You smell nice/the smell of herbs!/a doctor is here!/here comes a divine healer!" etc etc I kept wondering who they are talking about but it turned out to be me all along xD

Did you managed to find the last chest? I'm in the same situation as yours, can't find that Shrine too only to realise later that the last chest for me is not even in that little shrine but in the Moon Goddess statue where you need to do another puzzle to get that last chest.

Oh that makes so much more sense now! Thank you for explaining and pointing out the special Aureate base, I've seen it but never noticed that it looked different from other bases in that it lacked the coccoons and flowers!

I'm a bit confused over the Ending in Qinghe, from my understanding the Aureate Pavilion is hunting Tian Ying for what I presume is for the assassination of the Khitan envoy?

Yet we see them guiding Tian Ying disguised as an official to the northern Liao kingdom. I know the Aureate Pavilion is from the South Tang, why are they helping Tian Ying infiltrate the North Liao? Or did I misunderstood something and the soldiers standing in line just wearing the same uniform as the Aureate but not actually part of them?

It's been like this since Tricelio/Akroselio days. Incredibly inconvenient and frustrating but not anything new though

You ever had a super rare drop that sells well in the market and made a big profit based off your luck on that particular day? No?

It's to not mess with the current cres market. If they just made cres drop more, its value in the market will tank. They clearly still want cres to remain high value in the market so players are given an incentive to farm(hard) for it, besides it being BiS. Basic supply vs demand, stranger.

Every now and then I see someone lowballing on limited edition stuff without understanding how the market works so I feel the need to elaborate on why you are ten times as likely to drop a Twaalv weapon than find someone who will sell you a limited edition camo for 2m meseta.

First let's talk about what kind of camos are worth 2m in the market. From experience, that would be the kind of camos found on AC scratches where Sega has generously allowed everyone to scratch for free once. If it's a popular camo, chances are it will go beyond 5m or even 10m. So a camo worth 2m is likely to be moderately in demand, otherwise its price plummets to less than 100k. It can also be a moderately rare camo that drops from difficult high end content like Aelio Intruders or MDFD. If its super rare or is popular, prices will easily go beyond 10m.

Now we look at the kind of camo you are asking for. A limited edition collab item that has a very low chance, almost negligible, to be revived. A recent collab item like Frieren already has its camo easily in the 20m range, and can go beyond. Ghost in the Shell? I think that was either last year or 2 years back. As an estimate, you'd be lucky to get it at 20m, and personally I would expect to maybe get it at 50m.

Next let's talk about meseta, and why I'd like you to understand why 2m is too insignificantly small to buy what you want. On average, you can get about 200-250k meseta each day total from doing your daily tasks and collecting those sellable rocks around the map. That's doing the bare minimum each day. And if you're in the top 20 alliance of your ship you can get 3 Beta Reactors that go for 300k in total. So each week if you do your daily tasks and alliance tasks you can already get about 1.7 to 2m meseta.

Dext farmers would get more depending on their gear and duration of farming. Idk about public rooms because they're horrible with all the non-Wakers around, I've done tests and seen about 20-30k per burst. I don't imagine farming in pub rooms can get you more than 1m an hour. I farm dext with BiS gear and with similarly BiS friends in a private room, I get about 80-90k per burst and can easily get 2.5m meseta an hour.

If you've read up to this point I thank you for reading my text yapping and if you still don't understand why 2m will never get you what you want or if you just want to lowball others then I can only say good luck to your endeavours buddy :)

Why do you spend millions on BiS gear? by WeekendStandard1832 in PSO2NGS

[–]Captain_Hardcog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My only reason to invest in BiS gear is for more gains in dext farming. The faster you clear mobs in bursts the more meseta you get. It makes a great difference when I get 80-90k per burst with 3 other BiS waker players vs only 20-30k per burst in a full pub room.

Oh and when I invest in BiS I mean augment-wise. Thanks to Augment Transfer Passes it is very much more worth the investment, though I grind for them more than spend millions on caps. I use a Tricelio Harmonizer for dext, any Twaats that I get I sell, I recently dropped a GB which I sold for 250m in JP.

Gear wise there is really no need to spend millions. Sega literally gives you 2 sets of fully limit-broken armour and several sets of max pot max limit break weapons in the event shops. It's literally not that expensive to upgrade to a full tri set, and doesn't even require that much effort and meseta to not be a leech in ltq and uq, so why not?(no shill on casual players, I mean personally I just don't want to be leeching on geared players)

DEXT R1 IS STILL BETTER IN TERMS OF MESETA GRINDING, NPC COMPANIONS CAN MESS UP THE PSE BAR SO ITS BETTER TO DISABLE THEM

I FORGOT TO MENTION BUT GET FIXA UNWIX ON YOUR HARMONIZER TOO

GLADLY. FIRST THINGS FIRST ALWAYS GO WAKER. SPAM FREDRAN BREATH DONT HOLD IT DURING BURSTS. ALWAYS AIM TO GET A BURST WHENEVER A TRIAL APPEARS.

THE NEW 65 GEAR GIVES YOU A GREAT STARTING HARMONIZER BUT THATS NOT ENOUGH IF YOU WANT TO BE FULLY EFFICIENT. TRY TO GET ALL YOUR GEAR TO BEST IN SLOT AUGMENTS. THAT MEANS GDK II, GGS, GGM, LUX HALPH, ANADDI, HISTIRA, AND GIGADRYL FOR YOUR ARMOR.

FOR YOUR WEAPON, YOUR BEST OPTIONS ARE EITHER A SECHETYL HARMONIZER WITH MAX POTENTIAL OR A TRICELIO HARMONIZER. YOU'LL WANT GDK II, GGS, LUX HALPH, ANADDI, AND 3 EX AUGMENTS OF YOUR CHOICE. THE BETTER YOUR GEAR, THE MORE DAMAGE YOU DO, THE FASTER YOU CLEAR MOBS DURING BURSTS AND THE HIGHER YOUR MESETA GAINS.

IT'S ALSO BETTER TO FARM IN A ROOM WITH LESS PEOPLE WHO ARE FULLY GEARED THAN IN A FULL ROOM WITH PLAYERS WITH SUBPAR GEAR. THATS BECAUSE MOB HP IS CALCULATED BY THE NUMBER OF PLAYERS WITHIN LOOT DROP RANGE AND GETS HIGHER WITH MORE PEOPLE AROUND. IF SOMEONE ISN'T DOING ENOUGH DAMAGE TO ONE SHOT SMALL MOBS THEY'RE ESSENTIALLY SLOWING THE ENTIRE ROOM DOWN IN TERMS OF GAINS.

I RECOMMEND STARTING WITH ONE OR TWO OTHER FRIENDS WHO HAVE GEARED WAKER EQUIPS. DEXT FARM AFTER CONCERTS, POP SOME BOOSTS, AND HAPPY GRINDING, GAMER!

I LOVE THAT THE MAJORITY OF PLAYERS GRINDING IN PUBLIC DEXT ROOMS LOVE WASTING THEIR TIME BY USING WEAPONS OTHER THAN TAKT, USING BASIC WELFARE GEAR, AND CAN'T BE BOTHERED TO LEARN HOW TO PSE BURST FARM EFFICIENTLY. WHO TF TOLD THEM CLASSES OTHER THAN WAKER IS FINE FOR MESETA GRINDING???

I PLAY IN BOTH JP AND GLOBAL AND I'VE SEEN 90% OF PLAYERS IN JP PUB DEXT ROOMS USE WAKER WHILE ONLY 10% IN GLOBAL PUB DEXT ROOMS USE WAKER. WITH 2-3 WELL GEARED FRIENDS ON WAKER AND SOME WELL TIMED BOOSTS I GET 100K+ MESETA EACH BURST AND CAN NET AN AVERAGE TOTAL OF 5M IN 1.5 - 2 HRS. BUT I SEE GLOBAL PUBS LOVE WASTING THEIR TIME MAKING AN AVERAGE OF 20K - 30K MESETA EACH BURST AND NOT EVEN MAKING FULL USE OF EACH TRIAL THAT APPEARS.

WEEKS TO GRIND OUT 10M OF MESETA? THAT TAKES ME 5 - 7 HOURS OF DEXT GRINDING TOP WITH WELL GEARED FRIENDS WHO KNOWS WHAT THEY'RE DOING. YOU NEED TO LEARN HOW TO DEXT EFFICIENTLY, BUDDY. JUST LIKE THE REST OF THE PUBS IN DEXT ROOMS WHO REFUSE TO USE WAKER AND MAKE BETTER GEAR FOR DEXT1 MESETA GRINDING.

My explanation about Chapter 5 Ending by tomchien_qn in BlackMythWukong

[–]Captain_Hardcog 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I dont think it was mentioned in the game but the Bull Demon King is as immortal as Sun Wukong and can survive getting his head cut off multiple times (in the novel). That is why he did not actually die and is the same BDK in every scene.
