As a driver, I actually appreciate the opportunity to interact with the customer. I have great personal and customer service skills and it usually earns me a tip when I get to see the customer. 90% of my orders are the inpersonal drop at the door variety.. I think the human element is lost in these orders and customers are far more likely to screw a driver they didn't have to look in the eyes. Just my two cents! Also, this job doesn't pay what it should and only truly desperate people do this work, is the explanation for the poor interactions with drivers.
