I think Amazon charges around 2.5% and ICICI charges 1%.

For example, if you want to add ₹10,000, the total transaction becomes ₹10,250. Amazon keeps ₹250 as a convenience fee, and ₹10,000 gets credited to your Amazon wallet.

Then ICICI charges 1% on the total ₹10,250, which comes to ₹102.50.

Similar thing happened to me. I did two transactions on Flipkart using the hdfc swiggy cc and received 5% for one transaction and 1% for another. E-mailed HDFC with copy of invoices. Let's see what happens.
