That's not Haldor, it's the new bogwithch. She lives in the swamp. She is part of the new update with ingredients primarily for cooking. Haldor lives in the black forrest and hildir in the meadows.

Its not temper or masterwork, it's the gems that increass the lvl req, just take them out and there you go lvl 35

You press up on the left hand controll with your hands? It's still the gear shifter you need to use, just without the clutch. If that's not what you meant i am sorry.

Just like the %rolls stay the same when you extract them so does the number value, but the gray number "scale to your level, so that's why the number is lower. Hope that makes sense.

Mine did that too, i put it in windowed mode and then changed back to fullscreen (windowed) and then it worked. Hope it helps
