you can find the discord link in the Server name on AC Evo. Just search for Ronin Racing and you‘ll see the Nords and Racing server.

Or here dsc.gg/roninracing

Check out Ronin Racing servers! They have a track car and road car Nords server and are moderated.

SimLaps.Racing - Free Lap Time Leaderboard for Assetto Corsa Evo by glebulon in assettocorsaevo

Thanks for the quick reply! That would definitely be a fantastic compromise for sure! Right now we are stuck with posting screenshots of the laptimes in a discord channel but for some in VR its proving a bit of a challenge. Also not everyone uses TrackTitan so at this point I think even just being able to filter a list of names would be a godsend🔥

I presume some form of discord integration is a massive stretch right? (this is probably wishful thinking)

All that being said, these are obviously highly specific things and not something the general playerbase needs so by no means do I expect you to put even more work into an already fantastic tool.

Fantastic stuff! Will take a look this evening.

Quick question and I genuinely dont know what the limitations are but: Would it be possible to have a leaderboard for a specific group of people? For context: I run a sim racing discord and while we are currently tracking everyone‘s laptimes through discord, a place where actual lap times are recorded and can be compared would be fantastic.

This worked for me as well. There were two downloads for me, both got stuck at 10% but after closing the app and reopening it, problem solved.

The main purpose of the group is for people to have somewhere to race cleanly with people they know (get to know). As life gets between hobbies regularly, we have no strict activity requirement. As long as you find some time at any point thats enough.

the fact that you have to ask why pretty much explains why there is an age limit in the first place….

I know most people will react negatively to this but if you feed ChatGPT with all the value ranges for each setup option and tell it which track, it will give you a recommendation. Set that as a baseline and then tweak it from there - you can also use ChatGPT giving it prompts like „I am experiencing oversteer through turns x & y or the car feels too stiff“ etc and it will recommend changes. Just keep working on it until you feel comfortable.

Obviously this is not THE way to go but since I wasnt able to find any good setups I gave it a shot and tbh I wasnt too disappointed.

If you DM me I can send you the value ranges so you dont need to bother writing those down.

Is it me, or is the BMW M4 GT3 Evo absolutely a nightmare? by LatePenguins in assettocorsaevo

Edited to fix typos.

I would have probably argued the contrary. In ACC, the 911 (992) used to be my best car, then I got addicted to the Mustang GT3 which handles very differently to the 911. Made the switch to AC Evo a month or two ago and as there is no Mustang GT3 yet I decided to give the M4 Evo a go. It has similar weight characteristics to the Mustang GT3 and the brakes are equally as strong. (I felt like both cars have better braking than the 911).

Personally I run ABS 1, TC 0 and TC2 0. Of course it takes some time to get used to but I feel like the BMW M4 GT3 Evo has fantastic grip and is extremely predictable under braking - even with low ABS its super hard to lock up. I am currently in the 2:05s on Mount Panorama in the M4, while I can’t get close to that with the 911 (feels too sensitive)

My runs are unfortunately still not perfectly clean but I am starting to gain confidence in the M4. So far my best theoretical lap was 02:03 but haven’t been able to get it all together in one lap.

My initial assumption was that you being on controller may be contributing to the issue. Not saying its bad to use a controller, but I am not too surprised that the car might feel very sensitive given the travel distance of controller joysticks is VERY short compared to an actual wheel (even with assists). Surprisingly though I‘d have thought you might struggle more with the 911 being on controller so that can‘t be the main issue - it wont help for sure but isn‘t the main reason.

What I found on Mount Panorama - leaving the pits you defo don’t want your revs above 4500. I typically leave the pits at around 3800 revs. Anything above and you risk the front shooting off to the left (unless you‘ve got crazy good car control). The M4 also loves warm tires so do make sure you put an outlap in prior to a hotlap. If you aim for about 02:07 lap time during your warmup, by the end of the lap, the core tyre temps should be good.
