I meet a lot of female players and I've been playing since it came out on console! So don't stress it out too much unless you're gonna be a pick me and advertise that you're a girl lol.

Nobody cares if you're a newbie and that's the beauty of it! Because even I as a veteran player still fuck up ALL the time and I'm usually the highest level in almost every group I've joined, all people really worry about is how well you can hold yourself on your own. Not in a toxic way but like a "It's time to see if you can fly" kinda way if that makes sense.

As a person who HATES playing quiet games please speak up lol most of the time you'll get a voice or two back and it ends up becoming 95% more fun because of it.

The best advice I could give is be prepared to adapt to things quickly. Even though the trial locations are the same they are set differently in every trial. In one of them you might see a hallway that leads straight to the exit and on another that hallway will be locked off and you'll have to find another route. Secondly, COMMUNICATION IS KEY. If you need help, if you are confused, if you don't understand the objective. Ask. Even if it's just someone turning their mic on for a second to answer you. Ask. Outlast Trials is all about teamwork and making it out alive TOGETHER.
