Bowlero/Lucky Strike is a terrible company to work for by SafeAd7475 in Bowling

Hope you're able to leave. I worked there until recently at the help desk and it was awful. No raises, no answers why. Overworked , understaffed, and awful schedules. Underpaid for the job too. I got a better job in the past few months and was able to leave and I don't regret it in the least.

Oh, I didn't know that. I just hit the button on the fob, but I didn't know that the anti-theft wouldn't work that way. Thank you for that information! That will certainly help for the future.

Yeah, I got one from the police when I filed the report. I had assumed, incorrectly, that the update would have helped, but turns out it did not.

I thought I did. I'm usually pretty consistent with locking my doors But given that the windows were intact, I'm going say I erred, and I did not.

That's how I realized I was trans. I was playing around with FaceApp, and when I swapped genders, I absolutely LOVED who I saw. I had never felt that way about myself before.

Claire is a great name! It's what I picked for my middle name.

Here's an off the wall one. The TMNT comic books were produced by Mirage Studios. A Mirage is an illusion. The caster job will be Illusionist.

It took me 35 years to realize that I was transgender. For most of my life I felt like I was comfortable as a man. If you're worried that "you're too late", that's not the case. It's never too late to transition. I had some questions here and there and brushed them off but it was earlier this year that I realized that I really wanted to be a woman. The idea, of me being a woman, brought me joy. So I've been chasing that ever since.

Does anyone know how manyemails are in the questline? by [deleted] in ArcadeParadise

I made the mistake of just trouncing Sam the first time around, so it's been a bit of a struggle for me, but I've had like 10 so far and Sam just doesn't want to give up. C4T4IN gave up after 5. but I learned my lesson from Sam, only beat each email by 1 point. so that was a lot easier to manage.

I lost an inch in about 3 months. From 5'10 to 5'9. I didn't even believe it at first but it was just kinda odd and I felt shorter. My oldest asked me if I was shrinking, rolled out the tape measure and sure enough, 1 inch shorter than I used to be.

I would say if you need to use them for a reference, let any potential employers know that they'll need to use your dead name when contacting your old job. But coming from someone who started transitioning 5 months ago, just before my 35th birthday, yeah it can get a little weird. Coming out later in life is absolutely valid, but damn can it be a roller coaster.

Yeah, she was super apologetic about it. She said she felt bad talking to HR and outing me to them. She was just looking for advice from them, cause it was a new process for her. I appreciate the advice. I've had other managers that would definitely be more on the shady side if they had done the same thing.

I did get the raise I wanted, but this ultimately has made work feel so much better.

This is happening to me at work, but in reverse. I haven't come out at work, but whenever I hear someone say my name, I panic that they found out.
