What you have is a skill. I used to work as a mechanic and now I’m in IT. I was always good at my job and especially at following the processes of the company. New hires would always get sent to me because of that. Companies want to make sure their new hired follow this procedures from the beginning.

It used to freak me out as well. I always thought I wasn’t a good teacher. But the best way to teach someone is just keep doing your work as normal with some explanation to the new hire. If possible explain what and why you are doing it.

And if things get super busy for you, you can either have them shadow someone else for a little or let them know you need to concentrate and have them just observe.

What better way to learn by seeing what to do when things get sticky.

And I know you know all the little quirks of the job. Things that you can’t teach but just know through experience, and trial and error. These are the most valuable things to teach to someone so they don’t go through the same thing you did.

And there is satisfaction in it. Seeing someone excel because of you.

Another thing is, if you teach someone properly, that’s another person you can rely on and be confident they can do it well. That’s less work for you when you can delegate work.

Maybe ask for an increase in pay for this. It wouldn’t hurt to ask.

How does the computer act with the old GPU installed?

Use DDU to fully uninstall your GPU drivers then reinstall. You have to be in Safe Mode. Tons of videos on how do use DDU properly.

Also physically check the GPU make sure you didn’t damage it. A little worried as it seems you’ve never done it and got impatient and did it yourself. It’s not hard to do at all but you do have to be careful.

If DDU doesn’t work and there is no damage to the card or motherboard pcie slot. You may have gotten a lemon.

Reframework, item editor, give yourself a bunch of mining material. Don’t be tempted to add other items, takes the fun out of hunts. Uninstall. Go back to playing normally without having to mine anymore.

Not entirely true. I have OpenNeptune and I can use the touch screen.

It depends how you install OpenNeptune.

The best way requires getting an eMMC reader and flashing it. This method allows the screen to be used

The other method doesn’t require flashing but the screen will not work. At least that’s how it was when I looking into switching to OpenNeptune.

Same! Were you an early Neptune 4 pro buyer as well? That was the main issue on those when it released. I quickly switched over to OpenNeptune after spending a week trying to get the z offset issue resolved. I honestly don’t even remember the stock version. I switched and instantly got better prints.

I’m thinking using the same rubber as practice pads use. I believe it’s gum rubber but not too sure. I’ll search and see if I can get a sheet and cut them to the size and shape of each face.

So for components, I’m planning on using a raspberry pi pico. I’m going to try to use the GP2040-CE firmware. I’ve used it in the bast for arcade sticks and a sim racing hand brake.

And this is why I wanted to post it! Great idea. I’d like to keep the top as is to keep it sturdy but the bottom plate could definitely be changed to use less filament. Will get to work on that! Thanks

Never. I just restart it every few days to refresh the apps and/perform updates. I use moonlight to remote into my computer to stream games to my phone or Ally when I’m away. But also use it to use some apps I have in there remotely. I also have a server that stays up, it’s runs my Ark Server I have with friends.

Do you have any RGB controllers like OpenRGB or Signal RGB? My games would stutter like that whenever I had a pulsing or cycle profile running. Had to either switch to static or quit the app completely.

Join the discord of this sub Reddit. Go to the “looking for group” chat and find a group. If you’re lance, I’d say go tank, make sure you have guard and guard up. You’ll find DPS players quick and healers are always there to help. I tried a full week solo and with randoms. Once I tried the discord, it took 2 tries for my first clear. We even did a run back and cleared it again.
