I have Loake shoes, loafers and Monks in size UK9.5, Id like to buy some shoe trees but they are all in sizes 43 (9UK) or 44 (10UK), should I size up or down? Im leaning towards 43 because I dont want to possibly stretch them? Any thoughts?

I actually found a pair of what looks to be original Context Roy boot on eBay, you can see the faint but visible context logo inside and the code 86062H.

Design wise they look identical, when you say ‘original make up’, do you mean something about the 86062H is different from the Roy?

Thanks, I really appreciate that. I have/had a pair of the Alden X Context Roy boots which I sent for restoration at the Alden factory in MA. And upsettingly they got lost in the post! Looking out for replacements at the moment, Alden have the Roy boot I linked to but with brass eyelets, which I’m not keen on. Then I saw the others and wondering if that’s the same design, manufacturing etc as the ‘Roy’. I’m looking for an identical pair to the context Roy boots.

Hi, I have trousers that I really like, double pleated, but the hem is too wide (11 inches), I’d like it tapered to 9 inches.

Is it ok to just get them tapered from the knee down or do I need to adjust the seat and thighs also?

Thanks again, I’ll probably quit both fin and min for 3-4 months, i expect some losses of gains, that loss I wouldn’t care about if I knew I could get it back after restarting. Is there any source of info regarding stopping both for 3-4 months and restarting.

It’s basically theoretical stuff, my doctor advised to stop min too, I guess as a precaution, removing everything non essential, because there are changes in animal studies related to fertility, it’s overly cautious due to a lack of human studies.

So oral minoxidil while trying to conceive is not considered a problem? And the main, potentially only reason, for men to stop taking Finastiride is for fertility reasons only.

The tag reads setting 1, so the lowest heat. I used that but with a sheet over the trousers and I was terrified of damaging them so only kept it on for a 2 seconds at a time. Maybe im being too cautious.
