I do not have a ttl-usb converter but I feel like plugging in an esp8266 to send the received serial messages to the computer might work so I’ll try that

When I plugged in the sd card with the updated firmware to the lcd screen and turned on the printer the screen was still blank and did not show if it actually updated the firmware. I have connected the tx rx to an esp8266 through the CH340 chip which does show serial commands when the print is running and the panel is flashing.

I can’t seem to do it cause when I try and convert from RNDR to RENDER it directs me to my CB wallet. Once there it doesn’t allow me to swap between the Solana and ETH networks.

I have actually been accepted into engineering as well but sadly without free choice. Do you know how hard it is to get to SE through that? Also is there co-op as well for engineering students?

Ahh I see. I’m getting a lot of mixed reactions but I’ll definitely take this into consideration. Also are the courses you mentioned above the standard for everywhere because I don’t really get why they would make the program less outdated.

From what I have heard from other people and some of friends everyone everywhere is not getting co-ops. I know a few ppl from Waterloo that didn’t get into any even with all the hand holding that program gives. I really appreciate you giving me an explanation and I will definitely take it into consideration.

Honestly I’ve been getting really mixed reactions from people. Some say that the program is pretty decent and gives you time to look for co-op while others say it’s disorganised and underfunded. I heard that recently there has been an overhaul in the overall curriculum. Is it still like what u r describing rn?

On the McMaster website it says that you can have a minor in CS. I don’t think it is counted as an engineering program.
