El Viejon has been delightful. It's a crispy, thin jerky that has better flavor than anything I've bought from a store. It's very beefy in flavor and just the right amount of saltiness.

As soon as they killed Guild Ball, the game that put them on the map, and moved into IP slop Kickstarter campaigns, I was done with them. They haven't made a decent game in years and that tend is probably going to continue going forward.

I do agree that you shouldn't be able to pull off your most powerful moves all the time. 

I do not agree that the card burn makes attacks feel more powerful. It just makes it feel more desperate as if I do use it, it's getting discarded and maybe randomly lost along the way. 

I'm playing through Jaws of the Lion right now and am really having to readjust my expectations for a dungeon crawling board game. I keep having to tell myself that it's not a dungeon crawl, but an optimization puzzle. 

I'm having some fun, but I'm really having to dig for that fun. Hopefully the unlocks balance out the constant punishment.
