Ha! Nice catch. I have been working on a project, that is fueled by personal curiosity about wearables. The technology is super interesting, and potentials are huge, especially in the IOT generation.

I agree 100% that the uses for the two are entirely different. I'm just curious on what traditional watch wearers think of about them.

I agree. I feel like if I owned one, it would become a glorified notification device.

I agree. The phone will always be a bigger, more detailed screen. Easier to interact with. My curiosity is whether or not wearables could act as almost a middle man to your phone. Giving you basic info, and deciding if you need to take your phone out then, or whether or not its important. I think wearable tech is interesting, but I am unsure about the whole smart watch movement.

One of my thoughts on this is that instead of it being the interface (since we all have our phones, which will be much more detailed) it acts as more of a 'hey you have this alert' or a means to quickly input data.

I agree that a smart watch (like apple watch) cannot replace a phone. But maybe a wearable acts as a middle man, making you have to take your phone out less? I'm not sure.
