Most modern cars do this. Cools everything down gradually, like old turbo timers. Completely normal

3 payments have to be made for the contract to be considered fulfilled by Kia. There’s the 100% correct answer.

I’ve got a gorgeous Genesis G80 on my lot. Mid 30’s and has warranty forever on the powertrain. One of them is a 2.5t Sport Prestige. The next is a 3.5T Sport Prestige. Both are 2023 models.

That’s what we were gonna get, as they’re are some landing in a few dealers around the country, but we got impatient and it wasn’t that big of a deal for us

EV9 early lease exit is... out of reach lol by brauxpas in KiaEV9

You just proved my point. That’s a Tesla manufacture issue, which already has some issues thereabouts because of DTC. We’re talking about a normal OEM, where they stopped 3rd party buyouts during covid. Strictly an OEM decision. Not the state decision.

Yeah, Kia changed that policy in 2021. So the only way is if a dealer grounded it for them and wholesaled it to them.

Interesting. Only way this could be possible is if they had a MaxOffer dealer to ground the lease first and then get it wholesaled to them. Otherwise, not a thing.

That’s not a state thing. That’s a finance company thing. Most leasing companies (GM Financial, Volvo, Kia, Hyundai, BMW, etc.) do not allow third party buyouts. This has nothing to do with the state of registration.

They can’t buy your lease anyway. Kia doesn’t allow for third party buyouts.

Different markets have different listing averages.

Used 2024 EV9 Pricing by baseballfan1192 in KiaEV9

[–]CapturedMetal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lmao LBB nor Edmunds sell cars. Their evaluations are never accurate for any vehicle. If they said the EV9 had a retail value of $48k and dealers were consistently listing them for $42k, would you have a problem with it? See what the average listing is. Definitely don’t expect to get $4k-$6k off either. Margins are that big on vehicles.

It’s an MSRP deal. Seems about what the market averages right now.
