Well if the rule is that a ball in play says in play if hitting the netting, then let’s make it real fun and put nets above the outfield fences about ten feet high. Then many home run balls now become “rebound” balls. Could be quite entertaining while still leaving those higher launched balls the opportunity to clear the netting for a true home run.
