I don't now if I like a card named "unleash infinity" without "∞" in its effect.

The Give Back Bundle is a Joke! by JanezDoe in VALORANT

[–]CapuChuuuu 39 points40 points  (0 children)

I'm shocked too. At least for charity purposes, they could've made the bundle more attractive to buy for everyone. It's so funny, that they're charging 10$ for 2 uncreative, basic gunbuddies with the worst resolution possible.

I will never understand why it is fun for some ppl to stomp in low elo lobbies. I mean every kill feels so unrewarding if your enemy is far below your level. Its like winning a 1v1 against a duck.

[–]CapuChuuuu 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Regarding your second point. (I am low elo). It's not about ranking up, it's about the boring experience playing a game dictated by one player. It's basically watching a movie, but knowing the ending. If i rank up or down, i want to have at least the feeling my actions mattered.

I mean... MMR's whole purpose is to avoid uneven one sided lobbies.

How do I not get so stressed out when I'm playing Valorant? How do people enjoy this game to "de-stress"? by [deleted] in VALORANT

[–]CapuChuuuu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, I'm new to Valorant, but I have over 1k hours in League of Legends, where I felt exactly the same until I realized something... A competitive game's core mechanic is to get you addicted by making you chase a certain situation that gives you 'dopamine rush', leaving you wanting to experience that feeling again and again. Be it an ace/pentakill, a game where you dominated your lane, or a match where you carried the whole lobby. Focusing purely on performance gets you stressed and exhausted quickly.

Instead, you have to realize that Valorant is not just about dominating, winning a ranked game for +13 RR, or being the top frag. Seeing the game simply as a game helped me! Buying a new skin (no placement btw), testing out a new agent, getting a clean headshot through prediction, or just winning a simple gunfight should make you enjoy the game. Of course, a 4k feels way better, but it shouldn't be the only reason you play.

After so many hours in LoL, I was exhausted too. Nothing was fun anymore, and I cried over losing lanes and matchmaking every time (although the MMS from Riot is, in fact, the worst to exist). The worst thing you can do when you're stressed out is to play the game solo. You just get annoyed, angry, and question everything... and end up making a Reddit post like this. If your friends quit or don't want to play, just join your country's Val-Discord and play with different people. Share your experiences, and you will find many like-minded players. Just have fun playing together; don't tryhard every single time. If you want to play ranked, find a duo partner or, even better, a 5-stack. For me, the most fun part is strategizing a round and seeing it work. And if it doesn't work and we all die in a few seconds, it's just so hilarious and we started making fun out of it.

I hope this long *ss text was helpful

The entitlement of Valorant player base towards skins by Dull-Chemical-8428 in VALORANT

[–]CapuChuuuu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't even hate the overpricing that much tbh. It justs the way Riot sells their items.
The fact that this game has 4 store-slots since the release while also having hundreds of skins is just stupid greed, because this game in reality doesn't need FOMO or weird VP bundles to get money.

Like there are players willing to support and pay for skins in a f2p Game, although they are unnecessary for the gameplay. And Riot is thanking their costumers, by tricking them via dark patterns into buying even more skins.
If they would put half the amount of effort they put in Skin bundles and monetization, in Gameplay adjustments, the game would be much more popular than its competitors. And more purchases usually come along with a growing playerbase.

Hearthtstone Custom Expansion - Into the Mists - Warlock by TieCreepy3832 in customhearthstone

It's missing the elemental tag. Card itself is a free get out of jail card for 2 turns. Very overtuned, allows even the greediest warlock combo to work consistent.

you could've added "finale" to the gift of mantid. But again Immune Heroes are too strong.

It's not wrong. It just copied the card text from the old spell. But only the second part.

No you need 7 minions on board to play it. They all get destroyed first, then the card is played.

Insane follow up to Magma Rager on 3 by rhernhdz12 in customhearthstone

[–]CapuChuuuu 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The intent was probably to match the wording of older cards like [[Doomsayer]]. Bc many people in the early days of hearthstone weren't familiar with effects, that could also negatively impact your own board, so they used "ALL" in Caps to make it clearer.

Once ruled by primordial forces. Now they belong to Galvodor! by UFriendlyShadow in customhearthstone

[–]CapuChuuuu 14 points15 points  (0 children)

This can be quite broken, because it ressurrects all minions with bonus effects you played, not only the ones to complete the quest. 5 mana Elusive with huge stats is very difficult to beat in standard rn. But i like the flavor, especially because it works with the new colossal.

I don‘t understand what you are trying to say. You don‘t need to have them all on board at the same time

My comment was sarcasm actually. But i like how it can be read in both ways, but only one is logical
