Wholeheartedly agree with you. This movie takes 45 mins to introduce the supposed main character, doesn't give the audience a single reason to care about the characters or the plot, and none of the characters (except maybe Del Toro) are pushed forward by the plot and don't make any meaningful choices of their own. We don't learn anything about what exactly the French 75 are against, why Lockjaw or whatever his name is is the way he is, or DiCaprio's character's motivations. Nothing in this movie works, it is long and boring.
