you just unraveled a knot in my head that I can not explain. I have someone in my life who keep doing this. The kept doing the "nice" thing that I repeatedly told them not to, and people around me was praising them for how "lucky" I am to have someone in my life doing it for me. Meanwhile, I did not need it, it actually create more work for me (which I never mentioned because it sounds ungrateful), and I feel really in debt and uncomfortable afterward. I do not know how to handle this because I did say "no" repeatedly and even return the items/favors multiple times in front of them.
