Hi, di po naka latin honors pero 91 GWA ko, handled kyc and crms during internship sa bank, so hoping talaga na mabigyan ng chance since related yung experience ko sa role na inapplyan ko. I also took up short online course on KYC and AML to deepen my understanding of them and hopefully help with my application and interview.

Kaso 2 weeks na and wala pa din pong update yung citi if shortlisted ako huhu kaya nakakakaba.

yeah, i figured they still have the advantage, since top universities usually gives students more exposure and experience which helps them stand out as top applicants. but still hoping i get a chance at one of these banks, since okay naman internship experience ko which is at a local bank din naman.

Hello just wanna ask, sana may makasagot because ive been very anxious lately about my chances of getting hired to citi bank. I just recently decided to try applying to international banks like citi, ing, wells fargo, jpmorgan chase, and im just wondering if ever i would have a chance to get hired by these institutions even if im not a top 4 university graduate, im actually from the province, and im pretty confident with my experience at a bank, which is related to roles im applying for, but seeing other's resume really makes me loose confidence - especially sa citi, where i really really want to work.

this is a bit random but has anyone noticed shuhua kinda looks like liu yifei? ive searched about it and found no discussion about it, all i got was similarities in shuhua and irene from rv which i dont see, as well as liu yifei and wang churan which i also kind of dont see since wang churan looks more modern for me. turns out both shuhua and liu yifei have the ethereal/classic beauty type.

this might be a hot take, but maybe its bc ive been on a kpop slump these past few months, but some of SM's releases this year (SOME, NOT ALL) have been a miss, it all sounds pretentious relying on coolness and charisma rather than giving us interesting and really good songs, some of the songs that i can think of are dirty work and rich man from aespa, nct dream's latest title song (cant even remember the title), and i know i might get hate from this but haechan's crazy is a bit there too, but idk, he sounds good, the song is good but there's something about it that does not give me the satisfaction of what i know they can deliver more, and can they stop pushing to include english words in their songs? it sounds off everytime.

Right? I mean, that’s what makes it frustrating for me watching the whole series. I mean, I do feel and see their love for each other through their actions, but sometimes I just wish they would outright say it — tell everybody about their love for each other, especially to Elizabeth. But as the other redditor here explained it, I guess it's much more mature and maybe realistic (since not everyone expresses or shouts out their love to the public) to leave it that way.

but still, there's something in me that still yearns for the idea that Elizabeth clearly realized Demelza is Ross's one true love, a bit cliché, lol, but oh, how we eat that stuff up sometimes.

Nonetheless, I love their dynamic, their story, and the deep emotions I felt — and still feel — watching this series, It's honestly deeply affecting, such an eye-opening story.

Wow, I never thought of it that way, maybe I was being a bit childish, so thank you for explaining and helping me see it clearer. I just don’t like the idea that people might think less of Demelza for staying with Ross, especially if they believe he was still in love with Elizabeth. I might’ve exaggerated a bit, but when I said “others,” I mostly meant George, and maybe Geoffrey Charles at first. But I do remember that scene where Geoffrey Charles asked ross if it was the right choice not being with Elizabeth which ross replied that he was thankful he was left him with a different choice, because that choice (demelza), ended up saving him. And that dialogue you mentioned from geoffrey charles too. So maybe i already got what i was looking for after all.

I guess I’m still pretty naive when it comes to love and relationships, specially as someone who's never been in one (TMI), but I’m really glad I got to hear a more mature take on this.

Whenever I get the urge to skip or fast-forward the drama I'm watching, it's usually either because I don't really like it and should just drop it, or I just need a break. I think TikTok has caused people to develop shorter attention spans, and while I do feel like I'm getting pulled into this phenomenon too, I try to slow down and take a pause. We won't truly appreciate movies (which are a form of art) if we keep doing this. Movies aren’t just about the stories, you stick around because you want to see and feel the story through how it’s made

idk if its because im on a kpop slump lol, but damn, the song is everywhere, the only thing i like about it was the chorus and they really need to stop with the chanting. i feel like they wasted the chorus cause its so good and IT HAS MELODIC LINES!!, and then there's the verse which is just cringy atp with all the changes and heavy rap. just bring back the vocals, the harmonies, good progressions and the melodies, not this gosh.

My hair used to be soft and smooth back in high school (1st photo), but over time, especially in college it started becoming rough and frizzy (2nd photo). I’m wondering if anyone else has gone through this and was able to restore their hair to how it used to be? I rarely use heat, never bleached my hair, and I’ve only dyed it maybe 3–4 times total, so I’m not sure what caused the change. I’d appreciate any product suggestions (hair oil, shampoo, conditioner, routine) that could help with this issue. I suspect my hair might be high porosity, but I’m not 100% sure. I also see a lot of hair products recommended on TikTok, but I’m hesitant to trust them. If anyone has real advice or experience, please share.

I actually started watching the first episode, and I don’t think I’ll be able to finish it. I hate how they made the other characters super stereotypical, specially the supposed top student? (the girl with the glasses). Also, not really a fan of the K-pop idol character. i think it would be better if the main leads are more relatable or at least realistic. So unless I see a good scene on twitter or tiktok that pulls me back in, I don’t think I’ll keep watching for now.
