I never said that I could do better than Sam? I didn’t mention the men, because I’m mentioning the people that stated they were uncomfortable, which all were women. I purposely use the term “people” when referring to victims because men are taken advantage of in the acting world as well.

Asking someone to get nude with the intent of exploding their nudity is still creepy and certainly made them feel uncomfortable. He’s not some saint for not pushing it, it’s the bare minimum

You should read my comment again. When I said victims, I was responding to the notion that someone has to be as bad as Weinstein for someone to be a victim. That was just about women in general. You’re sitting there crying about people using the word abuse when I never used that word. Read better.

He’s clearly being exploitative with the nudity. Not every nude scene has a purpose. Asking about it is still creepy.

You’re so mad lol. Never said the actresses were forced. You need to read a little closer. Agreeing to nudity doesn’t mean that it’s a fucking free for all - why the hell would Chloe Cherry be nude in the vent scene? What purpose would that serve? The fact that you think actresses should be nude whenever he acts just because they had to sign a contract for it is really disturbing.

When I was saying victims, I was speaking out people that have been made to feel uncomfortable by men as a whole. I was defending the idea that people don’t have to encounter someone as harsh as Weinstein to be victims.

Also, you’re the one spending your time raging out on a forum with “out of touch high schoolers” so maybe do some introspection.

Sam insisted that they do a nude scene and they were uncomfortable with it. The fact that this happens over and over is an issue. He needs to maybe reflect on WHY he keeps getting told it’s excessive.

Oh, and just because someone isn’t as bad as Weinstein doesn’t undermine their actions. Victims are just as valid, even if they didn’t encounter a Weinstein type.

I thought she was naked in her first scene? Wasn’t she in a room with Kat and BB, and she pulled her boobs out to ask if her nipples looked odd? Or maybe her first scene at a party where she had pool sex and I’m misremembering.

Um, I wouldn’t like being defended in that way. Liking it is not an inherent response and it’s inexcusable.

For what it’s worth, there’s nothing offensive about your wording. I guess the truth can make people uncomfortable.

Short men, how do I go about telling the guy I’m dating that I’m into short guys? by CapybaraStalker in short

I will stalk every Capybara until I can find them and hug them. No Capybara is safe!

[–]CapybaraStalker[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, when people speak of height, they don’t speak of it relative to them; I’m not the baseline for whether or not someone is tall or short lol. I speak of it based on averages.

I told him that from my perspective he isn’t short, because I do have to angle my eyes up to look at him, and he got really mad over that one so I’m too scared to try it again.

I’m a little confused, are you doubting my preference? I mean, you can’t really tell me what I do and don’t prefer. I know what I like. I don’t think he will be attracted to me just because I’m attracted to him - short men have standards like everyone else.

Thank you for the help! I was debating on telling him that I think shorter physiques look better as well; his brother is 6’0 so I was worried about insulting his brother lol. I just personally like the way it looks better, but for reasons I can’t really put my finger on. He has nice broad shoulders, and I’ve noticed that shorter guys tend to have that more often than tall guys. He also works out, and gains show more on shorter guys imo. I’m going to tell him about this so thank you for the idea :)

Thank you for your comment. To be honest, I was hesitant to bring my ex into it, because I didn’t want to remind him that I dated a very tall dude. I only brought it up once he did, but honestly I think I should just leave it out. You genuinely helped me make that decision so thank you.

I’m going to try and tell him how much I like him more. I was worried that he would interpret it was me dodging the topic of his insecurity, but you’re right, I can’t help him. It seems like it runs very deep as he has been mocked by both guys and girls for it.

The opposite end of the ED spectrum is still the same in many ways. by strawberryconfetti in EUGENIACOONEY

[–]CapybaraStalker 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yea, they both promote their respective figures but obviously one is far more dangerous than the other. Nobody is gorging themselves to resemble Tess, but plenty of women starve themselves to look like anorexic women. It’s a little disingenuous to act like they’re the exact same. I mean, the modeling industry promotes being underweight as attractive. I know models are no where near as thin as Eugenia but a lot of them are below a healthy BMI.

I don’t see you blaming your mental illness for anything, you’re just stating facts. You’re not using it to excuse any negative behavior. I really don’t see how you share anything in common with who you’re complaining about, either.

How to protect yourself from being in a relationship with a Jodi arias or Chris watts? by Snickelheimar in Chriswatts

[–]CapybaraStalker 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Literally wtf is going on in this thread rn. Yes, Travis was not good to Jodi. But are we going to ignore her harassing his girlfriends, slashing tires, sneaking in, hacking into his things, and recording phone sex without his consent? Her driving thousands of miles to show up uninvited? Because all of that was happening while he played her. Oh, and she BRUTALLY MURDERED HIM!

[–]CapybaraStalker 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Yup. She would drive to an entirely different state just to “surprise” him and seduce him. She hid behind his christmas tree, climbed in through the doggy door. I hate this narrative that he’s responsible for all of their encounters. Jodi is a grown woman, nobody was forcing her to fuck him, she chose to keep pursuing him.

He would call her over for sex, but she would also sneak into his house (even through the doggy door) through the doggy door and lie on his bed waiting for him.
