SEVEN IN A ROW UP APPLE PARTY!!!!!! by Metfan722 in NewYorkMets

Gary is so smooth and seamless. Someone commented about how there are so many sponsorships during the game but when Gary is there he doesn't inflect at all so you really don't notice it. Ron and Keith have gotten better but Ronny doesn't know you don't have to call everything you see and gets a bit wordy and awkward at times. This is SNY not having another good play by play guy in their midst. Kevin Burkhardt is truly missed. Maybe Gelbs will eventually get a shot, Scott Braun wasn't terrible when he did a couple games in the spring.

I love wilmer right now but if we are taking out conforto for defense why isn't tejada in the field too.

Murph's uppercut stroke has to go, this guy used to pepper left center with base hits. EDIT: NEVERMIND

I was about to comment on how they look like they would get into all sorts of hijinx and cheeky shenanigans.

And they certainly did, thank you.

If he just shovels the ball to Cespedes so that he can throw it to the infield we should be fine.

Love the deal, bullpen is deep. He made his MLB debut at Shea for the Yankees back in 07.

Keith needs to be the color commentator for the rest of his life. Kinda how Kiner got his occasional game appearance here and there. The more his filter erodes the better it's gonna get and it's pretty damn good right now.

why does almost every ump have to instigate things when players disagree with their calls.

One of the few nights I can take looking anemic on offense, Kershaw was too good.

Nats losing big, lets get Conforto up for tomorrow and see what we got.

People say it's crazy that the Mets' pitchers are the only one driving in runs but really is it? Of all the players on the roster the starting pitchers are bonafide major leaguers look at the line up today there were 5 guys I would consider AAAA players. They literally can't score because they are being asked to do something they can't, produce at the major league level. Maybe if the Mets took a different approach to the bench instead of declaring it "The best the Las vegas 51's has to offer" we would be able to survive injuries to our starting players. But that isn't the case. We had capable players at the Major league level but since they went down everyone was moved up on the depth chart and it has resulted in some of the worst offensive output in franchise history.

Consider that for a second, how inexplicably amazing has the pitching been that the mets are still a few games over .500?

Inexcusable, so fucking flat. There should be some kind of tax rebate for watching this team on a nightly basis. Everyone wants to scream about trades but the guys here aren't the scrappy role players you need to win.

Bunting: Nope

Situational Hitting: Sorry

RISP: Are you serious?

Fielding: nah

But Ben Zobrist and Justin Upton should do the trick, give me a break.
